Tent screen in Android - android

A friend has asked me if I can create an Android app that can change white to red/yellow or another colour in another app, so applying a tint to the screen for all apps until it's turned off.
I've no idea where to start on this, has anyone got knowledge of this?
Can someone point me in the right direction of some reading?

I don't think so you can do this until and unless all other apps are not having background with 100% transparent.

Android Pixel 5 Can't remove Lock bubble on homescreen

I have really tried a lot but cannot figure it out.
On my Pixel 5 I have a personal and work space.
Since some time I have this nasty lock icon on top of the app tiles on my homescreen and I can only move it from the on side to the other, but I can't remove it.
Can anyone help me figuring out how to get rid of it ?

How to change screen contrast of my android device?

Servus!
I am coding a demo for a prototype with a build in Z1 android phone watch. Problem is that the default contrast setting for its display is pretty bad. Depending on my brightness setting I can choose between black looks like grey or white looks like grey.
So I went out and found an app called "Screen Adjuster" to change the screen contrast. But the thing is that this only let me lower the contract, but I need to raise it to get rid of the grey-color-problem.
Now I looked how to change the screen-settings on my own and did that at least for brightness. But now I got stuck searching for a way to get to some sort of contrast setting handle. I wonder if the app did that by some sort of filter overlay or something?? At least this would explain why its not possible to raise the contrast...
I need ideas!
edit: The device runs Android 2.2.1 and is already rooted.

How to add padding to the android screen?

I want to add black padding (a thick black border) to the android screen such that every app is displayed with the padding around it. I know how to do this for my app but how do I do this such that when my app is running in background the display is padded?
I don't believe this is possible unless you're willing to create and run a custom ROM.
Thankfully, this is not possible for the average non-ROM third party Android developer.
The screen on mobile devices is actually very limited, and when programming for the mobile environment, you have to learn to get away from the windows metaphor used by traditional desktop PCs.
On the other hand, may be your app could pretend it is running in the background, but still stay in the foreground with its transparency enabled. And perhaps if you can't do something, may be you can find a way to fake that something for your users.
Also, note that the default home launcher is capable of doing something similar to what you want, but only for widgets. And if being able to run widgets is sufficient for you, perhaps you could write your own launcher application that can embed widgets.

Fade out SystemBar

I know this question was asked about 10 times here but none of them came to a solution. I don't want to use the low light SystemBar Mode I want it completely to fade out. And this is possible! The default launcher that comes with Chinese Rockchip devices does this. (It looks like the systembar just flies away into the middle of the screen). Any (new) ideas?
Since API 17 this is directly possible, just select FullScreen Activity when developing an app with Eclipse.

Custom Android battery icon while phone is charging

I want to make an application with battery icon when phone is charging. But I don't know where to start. Can you please help me with some ideas?
Later clarification: I would actually like to implement just the animation similar to the one when the battery is charging.
Afaik this has something to do with your Launcher and it's theme. (correct me if I'm wrong)

How to make a launcher
If you want an animated icon then you should probably create a widget, you can create one that is similar to an icon but that can be animated when the battery is charging.
For the animation you can use the link posted on the comment of Thomas K.
