Is a not deprecated way to develop app extension for Android Sony Walkman Player?
The Music Infinite API is deprecated, and no longer supported in the Sony Add-on SDK (http://developer.sonymobile.com/knowledge-base/sony-add-on-sdk/)
I'm confused as to what you are trying to develop.
When you say app extension are you referring to an app that runs on the Android Sony Walkman? Developing for a Walkman device is no different than developing for an Android phone except for the fact that there is no cellular connectivity. The Sony Add-on SDK is only for developing extensions (apps) that run on companion hardware devices such as the Sony SmartWatch.

For implementing fingerprint scanner in S6, I am going to use Samsung PASS SDK. I want to know whether the SDK will work with other manufactures fingerprint scanner enabled android devices.
Thanks…
As far as I know the Pass SDK is for Samsung devices with built in fingerprint sensor.
Pass API is released as part of the Samsung Mobile SDK 1.5 beta1
during the launch of Samsung Galaxy S5 mobile phone.
via Pocket-lint.
EDIT:
As the official Samsung dev. portal FAQ (page 2) points out:
Q: What devices can use the Pass SDK?
A: Any Samsung Mobile device that supports the fingerprint sensor and
the Fingerprint Service with Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean API 17) and
above.
So far I know about Samsung Pass SDK, as it allows you to use the Samsung Fingerprint Service features so you must use any Samsung Mobile device that supports the fingerprint sensor and the Fingerprint Service with Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean API 17) and above.
I know Smart Watches are a really new technology and Im looking to develop for all Smart Watches. I've been looking around and cant find much on developing for Smart Watches and I was wondering if the Sony's SDK is compatible with other Smart watches using Android as an operating system?
As far, there is no unified SDK to use with all Smart Watches. In my opinion there won't be very soon, as the Smart Watches from different companies are build on different platforms and have very different features.
The Sony Add-on SDK can be used for all devices that support Smart Extension APIs, which are:
SmartWatch 2, SmartWatch, Smart Wireless Headset pro, Stereo Bluetooth Headset SBH50, Smart Bluetooth Handset SBH52.
For more information, see: http://developer.sonymobile.com/knowledge-base/sony-add-on-sdk/about-the-sony-add-on-sdk/
Update: You can manage smart accessories from any smartphone which have installed the Smart Connect application. So you can use the SDK also with non-Sony devices, but you can control just the Sony accessories I mentioned.
Smart Connect for non-Sony devices is available in Play store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sonyericsson.extras.liveware
I have a Samsung Galaxy Beam smartphone. Galaxy Beam is integrated with a projector. I want to use its projector for developing. As far as I know Samsung doesn't provide an API for developing. Does Android SDK has an api for this? or Is there any way to control its projector ?
Is there an SDK for sharing live video between android devices? for example like skypekit but I think skypekit is not yet supporting mobile devices just desktop.
SkypeKit supports video on embeededd devices and on desktops. Developing any mobile device (mobile or tablet) running iOS or Android is currently prohibited in the licence terms.
We do not currently offer any APIs or SDKs that would support this use case at this time.
I'm about to start Android development. After a bit of research it seems that the Sony Xperia Play is probably the most suitable Android-based gaming device.
Is it possible to develop for the Xperia Play like on any other Android-based phone, or does it require special licensing or other certification from Sony?
All information needed to developer for Xperia Play is available as Sony Ericsson Developer World http://developer.sonyericsson.com/wportal/devworld/technology/android/xperiaplay/overview?cc=gb&lc=en
From what I can tell, the Play will have the Android Market on it, so that means that normal Android apps can be downloaded and installed on it. Although for development, you'll want to make sure that you can "sideload" (install apps by transferring the .apk file to the phone without using the Market) apps onto the phone so that you can test your apps on the real hardware.
