One of my apps been in the market for 3 weeks now. Got a few good ratings, but one of the ratings I got is a 1. Unfortunately the user didn't leave any review so I got no way of telling why is she/he dissatisfied as such.
Is there a way that I can find what device/android version etc...they're using?
FYI, In the developer console, I can't find any details of this rating under "Ratings & Reviews". I am only able to see information on the ones with reviews.
I have an an analytics event triggered when the user clicks the rate button but of course no information about the rating itself.
The latest 1 star ratings from my apps say "good app thank you" and "can't download it". Apparently the first user tapped on the wrong button and the other has a bad network connection and wasn't able to download the app from the store.
As you can see, you shouldn't worry about low ratings until you get more detailed reviews (you will get some eventually).

I'm working on an Android app where a user must be 18 years or older to apply.
If there will be people under 18, the app would have negative public view which I do not want to deal with.
Is it somehow possible to be sure that my users are older than 17? Is there any service which could possibly accomplish this?
Ideal fictional solution: in my registration form the user writes his/her id number and I would check if he/she is old enough with fictional service.
One not very good solution which I found. There is an app called Muzmatch. It is dating app for Arabs. When the user register he have to use device camera to take picture of himself and send it to server.
I can do the same in my app and check if the user seems old enough but I think it's stupid idea.
Yes this is possible through the Google Play content rating system.

Scroll down to the Take your app’s rating questionnaire section and it'll run you through the steps to apply an age rating to your app.
In addition to this, maybe you could create a free in app purchase, that the user will have to buy when first entering the app. They would then need either a password or finger print in order to pay via Google Play.
I published an Android app called "Never Have I Ever". The app was and still is live on Google Play. I updated the app once. Then the second time I tried to update the APK file, I was emailed a messaging saying that my app has been rejected for keyword spam. I updated my app 10 more times changing my app description to the bare minimum. I tried contacting Google Play. Yesterday I tried to update my app title from "Never Have I Ever" to "The Never Have I Ever Game" hoping that maybe it will finally be fixed. No, I was finally contacted by Google Play saying that my app was reviewed and that my app title matched another app "Never Have I Ever Game". Now, this is ridiculous to me. How is it that Google didn't see my other 10 updates, but only saw this last one? How is it my app "Never Have I Ever" was fine until, one day it got rejected? There are so many apps with the name "Never Have I Ever" on Google Play. I have an app "Truth or Dare" that never got rejected for having the name "Truth or Dare". Basically, I am frustrated that I have not been given any answers by Google, and that my title and description is definitely not worth of rejection. Maybe I am wrong, but would definitely need an answer.
Your app submission has been rejected for a violation of the Google Play Developer Programme Policy regarding Impersonation or Deceptive Behaviour. Please review the keyword spam policy help article, then modify your app's title and/or description and resubmit. Additional details have been sent to your account owner's email address.
Title: Never Have I Ever
Short Description: A fun way to party or drink!
Description: Enjoy the game with a group by using the application for questions. The app counts the number of people that have done the particular statement asked. When you are playing, simply swipe from right to left in order to go to the next question. Alternatively, swipe left to right in order to go to the home screen or simply press the back button. I hope you enjoy the game.
Why is the above information being rejected? I even tried again to change the title, this time to "Adult Never Have I Ever" and still getting rejected.
I have several problems with google play apps testing.
I have a beta user group with 100 users.
In the process given from google, I must add all users to a group, and then, when user receive a mail, he click a blue button "Become a tester"
I have 2 problems in this step.
I don't have a way to know who clicked this button and who didn't click, so I really don't have control of who has the correct version
After clicking blue button, when user has 2 google accounts, it fails, even if the user choose the correct email. I was able to pass this step by deleting an account, download app, and re-add the account. It seems like a bug to me.
So basically, I have a lot of trouble with all this process.
Is there any way to get it work better, or should I just buy an external service?
1. I don't have a way to know who clicked this button and who didn't click, so I really don't have control of who has the correct version
Well it is true that you don't get a "notification" per say saying that the user clicked the blue button. But you can always look up the developer console to see who has downloaded the app based on versions, devices etc etc.
2. After clicking blue button, when user has 2 google accounts, it fails, even if the user choose the correct email. I was able to pass this step by deleting an account, download app, and re-add the account. It seems like a bug to me. So basically, I have a lot of trouble with all this process.
I never experienced that when i was added to a beta testing group. I actually had 3 accounts on my phone at that time and was still able to install the beta app without any issues.

I have an app on Google Play named "Tap n Flap" and I have been getting many great reviews. My issue is that I received a one -star rating from one user and the dev console won't let me view it. I have clicked the filter button and selected one star and this is what I get and it says no reviews match your settings. I do not understand why it will not pop up, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated on dealing with this issue.
You can't view reviews without a user's comment in Developer Console
I'm seeing this message
This rating option has been disabled
by the Android Market team
next to the "All" rating option for my app. This is showing up for my apps that need Internet access to serve up adMob ads. I am not allowed to select the All option. My app is suitable for little kids, and the ads don't show up on the main game screen. Does anyone know of a way to get around this?
Are you sure you don't have location enabled?
I have an app that just requires Internet, and I can select "all", but another app with internet + coarse location cannot be rated "all", with the same "error" message.
Should a child not be able to know where they are?
You can contact the support team at Google if you feel your app has been rated improperly. Per the article mentioned above:
Mis-rated Apps
Please note that users can notify us if they believe an app is
incorrectly rated. If we agree that the flagged app is incorrectly
rated, we will re-rate it per our guidelines. Repeat offenders may be
subject to further action, up to and including account termination.
