I need to make my Toolbar static while scrolling it goes up while scrolling butI need to make it static how can i do this. Now let me explain what are all the methods I have tried so far,

Remove app:layout_scrollFlags="scroll|enterAlways" this from Toolbar and check scroll.

I had the exact same problem and it turns out that it was because of the android:fitsSystemWindows="true" property on the android.support.design.widget.AppBarLayout element.
If you remove that, it should work.

Your implementation seems to be fine.. But why have have you used a coordinator layout in an activity as well as in a fragment. You should only keep it in fragment and simply modify your activity xml to be-

UPDATE: BTW, just a suggestion- it seems you are using a scrollable view(recycler view). So I suggest that you just put the recyclerview in a fragment and the rest of the code in the activity.

Move your toolbar inside CollapsingToolbarLayout (it seems that you created a copy instead). So the view with id toolbar2 should replace the view, which now has id toolbar.
CollapsingToolbarLayout has to be inside CoordinatorLayout
As whole xml is not visible so assuming format is not followed. Try this format in the xml:

i am adding fragments to the FrameLayout which has FAB. in case of CoordinatorLayout my FAB button gets hidden under navigation menu button.

I have a toolbar which I would like to behaves as material design specifications. In this way, I wrapped it in a AppBarLayout. The problem is that the RecyclerView is a child of a ViewPager:

How can I attach the AppBarLayout to react to an arbitrary RecyclerView which is not his sibling?

This brings a padding-related problem for the pages in the ViewPager. I solved this one adding a padding which size is the same height of the tab layout. It works. Not the best solution though.
