I have a problem with collapsing toolbar layout. I would like to create collapsing toolbar with parallax effect. I read a lot of tutorials and everything is ok except one little element. The background of status bar is moving down while scrolling NestedScrollView quickly. I would like to create profile like in Facebook app.
I am attaching a video which shows my problem (in this video I am showing borders of layouts).

Also this is my layout:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>

<android.support.design.widget.CoordinatorLayout xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"

Could you help me to resolve this problem ?
I had the exact same problem and it turns out that it was because of the android:fitsSystemWindows="true" property on the android.support.design.widget.AppBarLayout element.
If you remove that, it should work.
Here is my layout.xml:

I have faced with a problem, that when my Collapsing toolbar is uncollapsed - the title is padding to far for the right.
The home button is set as supportActionBar?.setDisplayHomeAsUpEnabled(true)

I implemented a coordinator layout for the first time. It is working fine on small screen phone, however on big screen(or maybe due to newer version of android) the title that i am giving to the appbarlayout its only displaying half horizontally when the toolbar is collapsed.
Here is my layout-
<android.support.design.widget.CoordinatorLayout

xmlns:app="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res-auto"

android:layout_height="match_parent"
android:fitsSystemWindows="true">
<android.support.design.widget.AppBarLayout

android:layout_height="300dp"
android:theme="#style/ThemeOverlay.AppCompat.Dark.ActionBar"
android:fitsSystemWindows="true">

EDIT: Updated the tablet gfycat link.
I'm having an issue on my phone layout. Even though I have set app:layout_collapseMode="pin" on my toolbar, it scrolls right off the screen, additionally, the classic 'slide' motion appears to be disabled as well.

I have been trying hard to implement collapsing toolbar animation. Above is the layout i am using to implement animation. As user scrolls down the imageview should shrink. But nothing happens as I scroll down. What am I doing wrong here?
I'm trying to make a CollapsingToolbarLayout scrolling always even if I don't need to scroll on my view.
I have seen something similar in WhatsApp application.
Here is a link to see what I want :
