I'm search for an explanation of the Opt-In Rate in Google Play Console for Daily and Monthly Active Users. In Apple Connect there is a hint "Only Opt-In". Apple says approx. 30% of all users gav their opt-in.
In Google Play Console I can't find anything regarding this topic.
Can somebody help?
And another question is:
In some of my Apps, I can't see any numbers for DAUs and MAUs. There are a lot of installations and it's 100% sure, that someone has used the App, but there is "No Data Available"
And I can't see any issue with this Apps.
Kind regards,
Sam

So I have uploaded a game app on the google play store and currently, it's up for pre-registration. The problem is, even though I have ensured that quite a number of people have pre-registered but the play console dashboard is not updating and it's showing zero. I couldn't find any proper answer to this question. Can anyone kindly tell me why this might be happening and when it'll be updated?

I had same problem so I asked google support and I got this reply.
Thanks for contacting the Google Play Developer Support team.
I understand that you have concerns regarding your app's statistics for pre-registration users.
Unfortunately, If pre-registration sign-ups have a low number of users, Google Play Console won't display pre-registration sign-up data. For privacy reasons, Google doesn't display pre-registration sign-up data when there are a low number of users. But rest assured, once you've reach or surpassed the threshold you will see the stats for your pre-registration
1 Week Later:
Now my registration crossed 50 and reached around 100. It started showing a 50 sign-up count in the play console. Maybe we have to cross 50 to show numbers, and it takes 3 to 4 days to update the last number.
How to refund in app purchase payed with test card?
I use "consume"-button in my debug version, but I wouldn't use it in release version (I don't want to show this button to end-users).
I see charded Test order in Google Play Console > Order management, but Button "Refund" is disabled: "The selected orders can’t be refunded either due to their age, status or your lack of requisite permissions".
Is there non-programming solutions?
EDIT: my refund button is no longer greyed out. Give it a try!
There is no way to do this without extra work. Came across this reddit post - it looks like it used to be possible a couple of months ago.
Here's Google's quote from the link:
Thanks for contacting Google Play Developer Support!
Unfortunately we don't currently support a way to cancel/consume test purchases through the console, you can only do so programatically.

Violation explanation
GOOGLE PLAY REMOVAL: AdMob publishers are not permitted to abuse or promote the abuse of any Google product, such as Google Play, YouTube, or Blogger. This includes circumventing, or providing the means to circumvent, the policies or terms of these or other Google products, such as by allowing users to download YouTube videos.
If your app is removed by Google Play policy enforcement, please contact Google Play about an app removal here. If Google Play reinstates your app, please submit an appeal to our team.
Action required: Check account for compliance
While ad serving has been disabled to the above app, your AdMob account remains active. We suggest that you take the time to review the rest of your applications to ensure that they’re in compliance with our policies, and to monitor your apps accordingly to reduce the likelihood of future policy emails from us. Additionally, please note that our team reserves the right to disable accounts at any time if we continue to see violations occurring.
Thanks in Advance.
You click your own ads several times. on purpose or not, you let other (users using same network) click your ads.
For any reason, never click your own ads, that's the golden rule. if you want to see and click your ads, you should use TEST DEVICE ID.
see this link Testing that admob working before publish

you got your answer why your account will be disable
I have a problem which is quite similar to this post:
Google Play Private Channel "Restrict Distribution" option missing. Both the question and the answers in that post did not help me out.
The option to restrict the distribution is also missing for me. I've made myself a checklist of the things I did and I can not figure it out why it is still not showing up. I made sure that the following things were done:
The company has a Google Apps for Business with a verified domain.
The Google Play Developer Console service is turned on and available for everyone.
"Allow users to update Google Play Private Channel" and "Allow users to access Google Play Private Channel" are both checked.
The developer account (Which is an #gmail.com account) has been invited as a user to the Google Apps domain of the company.
Just to be sure I also added someone from the domain as a user to the developer account.
The developer account has all the rights he needs on the Google Apps and the user in the developer account has all the rights he needs.
Waited for more than 24 hours, as things could take up that amount of time to get taken care off.
It doesn't matter if I upload an APK to the Google Developer Console with the developer account or with the user from the domain. The option to restrict the distribution is not visible on either of them.
If some one could help me out with this problem, then I would really appreciate it. Just mention it if I need to clarify some stuff a bit better. I'll edit my post then.
Got my answer after contacting the Google Play Developer Support (Got their response faster than I expected). It seems that the primary e-mail of the developer account must be in the same domain as the Google Apps.
A quote from the response that I got from the Google Play Developer Support:
In order for the option to be available to restrict distribution to your domain, the primary email of the developer account must be part of that domain.
So adding a domain user as a user to the developer account will not work.
You might ask yourself the question "But how do I change my primary e-mail?". The answer to that question is that you can't. You need to make a new developer account, transfer your apps from the old one to the new one and after that (Although it is optional) request a cancellation and refund of the old account. More information about this can be found here: https://support.google.com/googleplay/android-developer/answer/139626?hl=en
Yes, SO, I know, it's not a "programmer's" question:) But customers sometimes help us (devs) with our code, so we (devs) shold be grateful. I think answer to my question will be useful for all fellow android devs.
User has purchased my app. Refund period (15min) is over of course. Now I'd like to return money to him as a gift, because he helped me in testing a little.
If I refund the entire order in Checkout->Orders will user keep my app 'purchased'? I mean will he be able to uninstall and install it again from GooglePlay->MyApps and will app be marked "purchased"? Will Google LVL accept him to run the app?
I've done such refunds before, but then they called it "Android Market", and refund was 12h, and there were no LVL. Maybe somebody know another way to make a small gift using Google Play?
Google play has no gifting implemented currently.
Refunding the purchase will automatically uninstall the app from the user's device, and LVL will not accept him as a registered user if he sideloads it.
You can now generate and distribute promo codes for your app or game to current and new users on Google Play.
Under the Promotions tab in the Google Play Developer Console, you can set up promo codes for your apps, games, and in-app products to distribute in your own marketing campaigns (up to 500 codes per app, per quarter):
Go to your Google Play Developer Console, select your app.
Select Promotions > Add new promotion.
Follow the on-screen instructions (promotion name, start and end dates, promotion type, number of promo codes you want to create).
Select Create, select the download link.
Your codes will download to a CSV file. To share with users, you can print the codes or send a deep link allowing users to redeem the codes via email or a notification within your app.

You can't give him a gift. There's no gift concept implemented in Google Play.
All we can do at this time is refund a purchase through the Google Wallet merchant account, after 48 hours (when the customer-initiated refund period expires, which may be different in the future).
If they get a refund from Google it will uninstall the app and remove their access.
If you do it personally from your Wallet merchant account, after 48 hours (or whenever the end is of the customer-initiated refund period), they still get to keep the app and get updates.
I know this is old, but have you thought about asking the customer in question to purchase the app, and then sending him/her the money via PayPal or something? Also, what if you initiate the refund process? In that case, I wouldn't expect the app to be uninstalled, as the user didn't agree to an uninstall.
