Android Developer Name change - android

I just published my first app on the market today and put my name under developer name instead of my company name which is what it should be. I then updated the developer name to be my company name but the change does not appear to get updated.
Does anyone know when can I expect to see the name change?

Looking at a previous posted question it toke "some time" but it will be changed in all applications.

If you're viewing the application profile from your phone, the Market application caches a lot of stuff about viewed profiles.
You can stop/kill or clear the cache of your Android Market app in your phone and see if the name change is reflected.

it's appear on your simulator correctly most probably cause simulator is looking at the american servers .. while the computer look at your country server :)

How to check if an app name is available without taking it?

Is it possible to check if a name is available without choosing it ?
Since I am developing for android, wp8, and iOS at the same time, I wanted to check that the name is available on all three stores first ?
You cant check app name is available to you without entering it, Specially for iOS and WP8.
In android, You may choose same name of app if other developer has published already but package name should be different.
For iOS and WP8, if someone have already created app with that name and not released yet then you cant able to choose same name. And to check this scenario, you need to login in respective store's developer account and check name is available or not by filling required details.
I hope it may help you.

Could not search my ap in play.google.com

We have just public app to google store, but we have an issue, we can't search app base on app's name.
We just found apps if we search base on package name.
"Kể Truyện Cổ Tích"- https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gcs.sire
Is there anyone know what happen?
Thanks
As per my suggestion there may be the following problems
- When you have publish the app I think you have selected some specific country name. So, other than those country it will not be viewable.
- Checked AndroidManifest.xml permission ,from which device you have been searched may be it's not match with your device configuration and screen sizes also.
- Please also check Pricing & Distribution column on Google Play Store.
As per mu assumption first point for you.

Android app does not show up in App store > 24 hours

I released my first android app yesterday, and got the direct link to the app working after 6 hours. But Its been > 24 hours now, and it still doesnt show up in the search on playstore.
I have been searching in the playstore both from my android device, as well as from desktop browser. The app simply isnt there.
Is this common? Is there something I can do to check the status/find out whats happening?
Thanks a lot
EDIT: the direct link is: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.droidinput
EDIT: The issue was indeed that the name "Droid Input" was too general. Changed it to Moused . Hopefully it makes it a tad better once the update is pushed to prod. Thanks for all your help!
Sometimes newly published apps take time until they appear in search results. The app needs to be indexed in the Play Store before it starts appearing in search results. Also, make sure the app name has enough unique keywords so that it's easier to spot while searching.
All my apps were searchable minutes after the direct link started working. Can you post the name of your app.
Check those in Developer console
published area
minimal Android os
make sure it's published in developer console
If it's all right, don't worry, just wait to published
If your app have any problem google will send email to you
First of all,
you must check if you have no other updates,
second check if the website is not under going several changes if so than you might have to wait a couple of days
check your device for any out of the normal activity
if this is not resolved make sure to contact the company and explain them your issue,
regularly it shouldn't be happening to only you so there might be others with the same issue as you, it is unlikely that it could be your device but there is always that possibility that it might.

Android App not discoverable by name or keywords?

I was wondering If I could get some help on this. I have created a new mobile app and published it to the android market a few days ago. I was naturally expecting to be able to find the app by simply searching for its name in the Play Store, however when I do this nothing shows up for my app and I can only find the app by searching for the package name.
I just want to know if this is something I am doing wrong or just the way the Play Store works? A link to my app is below:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.skystalker.wedcon&hl=en_GB
Thanks in advance
It seem that I'm able to locate your app by searching (160-ish result). However your app name seems to be a common one, and that's causing it to go down the list since it's new and haven't yet gained popularity. If you care about the app coming up first in the search either: change the name to a unique one, or get popular (more downloads and high ratings).

Android market publishing

Well,I have a big problem because I put an android app on the market that is searcheble by this URL:
"https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=simple.notification.app1" and it does work but when I m going to Google Play and I search "Simple Notifications" the name of the app there is not my app published it passed more than 2 days and I dont know waht to do please help.I have tried everythin.
It shows up as the first result for me if you search Simple Notification.app1 - You may need to rename or reconfigure your meta data relating to the upload, it seems to be searchable only via direct name right now.
Your app is on the market, but it's probably far down on the list. It will move up depending on its popularity and downloads. Give it time.
