I was able to get to work with email on an emulator few months ago, but due to some reasons i have formatted my system and now I’ve been trying for the last couple of days to sync my google account on Emulator. I get either of the following error messages:
1) If I use “myaddr#googlemail.com”, I get the error message: “Username or password incorrect”
2) If I use “myaddr#gmail.com”, I get the error message: “You don’t have permission to sync with this server. Contact your server’s administrator for more information.”
Any ideas what could be going wrong here? Is there a different way to approach this? I really need to send emails from my app for testing purpose....each and every time i don't want to use real device.

This is a Xamarin.Forms app running on Android, based on the Azure getting started Mobile App example.
I'm trying to register a device's id for notification services. Originally I was getting unauthorized, so I relaxed authorization settings on the backend. Now I am getting this error and cannot find a reason why.
I checked and double checked that notification hub has the correct Firebase details that align with the app and cannot see what the problem is here, any help appreciated.
John,
If you set WEBSITE_PUSH_ENABLED=false in your appsettings, does the problem go away?
Can you check your Mobile App's app settings?
Specifically, I am looking for the existence of the app setting "MS_NotificationHubName". If that app setting doesn't exist, you need to add it, with the name of your notification hub.
There is a bug in the Azure App Service Push blade right now. A fix is being rolled out. In the interim, instead of using RegisterAsync(), use the method described in the book http://aka.ms/zumobook - chapter 5.
I am currently working on updating the Google Login process in my app using google-services 3.0.0 and play-services 9.6.1 and am having troubles getting the required google-services.json file to include in my project.
I am following the setup guide and trying to get the json file from https://developers.google.com/mobile/add?platform=android.
When I pick my app from the dropdown menu I get a 'bad request' error message.
I went ahead through the process anyway, choosing only Google Login for the service but I still get an error when I attempt to download the google-services.json file
This is what is returned when I attempt to download the file
)]}'
{"code":3,"errorSpace":"generic","placeholders":{"trackingId":"123456789"},"status":400,"message":"backend error"}
Looking at the form that was sent in Fiddler, the query string is
["getArtifactRequest",null,"android:my.app.package","2","123456789"]
(After replacing the trackingId and the project Id numbers in these two requests)
Attempting to go back through the process gives me an error stating that the package already exists (Which it does). Other places seem to imply that I could use this method repeatedly as a way to re-generate the json file though.
The app was already listed in the OAuth 2.0 client IDs on the developer console site when I did this. I also went through it a second time for a debug version of the app which was not already created, but I received the same messages and outcome.
Has anyone else seen this issue and found out how to fix it?
After switching projects for a bit and checking back today, I went through the same process as listed and it worked just fine. I haven't changed any settings, so maybe it was a problem on their end for a while. Wish there was something more helpful to say about this, but it just works now.
I have successfully used the Android TicTacToe app to cast to the TicTacToe receiver app (AppID "TicTacToe"), using unmodified code from the TicTacToe example on github.
Next, I tried to use my personal receiver app. I got the email a couple of hours letting me know that my device was whitelisted and providing the AppID. I put the AppID in line 90 on GameActivity.java (not line 91, as stated in the instructions), and I also put it in line 35 of tictactoe.html (this step was missing from the instructions, but I assume it is needed). I also followed all steps in the Common Errors section of the instructions.
When I click the Start button in the Android app, the Tic-Tac-Toe board appears in the Android app, but the Chromecast device does not noticeably react.
Here is the LogCat:
07-28 00:13:47.776: W/StartSessionTask(10892): StartApplicationRequest failed with status: -4
07-28 00:13:47.826: E/ApplicationSession(10892): StartSessionTask failed with error: failed to start application: request failed
07-28 00:13:47.826: D/GameActivity(10892): start session failed: failed to start application: request failed
Try checking the box that says "Send this Chromecast's serial number when checking for updates".
Mine didn't work at first, after doing this and restarting mine seemed to pick up the whitelisted appID.
As mentioned by the author of question: Make sure to do from ChromeOS, Windows or Mac OSX client until they fix the issue from Android app.
Clients can be downloaded here: https://cast.google.com/chromecast/setup
This was fixed for me after I restarted the chromecast by removing power.
I tried Aaron's answer several times (was finally able to get the setting to stick using the Chromecast Mac app) but it still was giving this same error.
Then, I discovered I actually uploaded the receiver file to the wrong url. So double check which url was actually whitelisted!
Though even after fixing the url it still was broken. So I think I must have entered the wrong serial number when I made the whitelist request. I resent the whitelist request and the new app ids are working properly.
I solved same problem by using HTTP instead of HTTPS for my local hosted receiver, it seems Chromecast looks for valid certificate.
I've been setting up Android in app billing v3, using the IABHelper class, and following the example code provided by Google. I have it mostly working all the way through purchase (with signed apk and real credit card charge).
However, in the course of testing today I started to get a new error in my QueryInventoryFinishedListener from the queryInventoryAsync() method:
IABResult message: "Error refreshing inventory (querying prices of items)"
IABResult response: 5:Developer Error
Weird thing #1 is that this occurs after the onIabSetupFinished() callback returns (with the customary "Hooray" message). Weird thing #2 is that I can subsequently & successfully process an in app purchase (using the launchPurchaseFlow() method).
I found a patch here that addresses the same symptoms I'm experiencing, but it didn't work for me.
I've tried using different devices, using different gmail accounts, and building a new product from scratch. I even getting the error on earlier versions of my app that ran correctly (what?!).
My question is: Why can't I query the product inventory, even after IABHelper has confirmed the set up was successful? What could be causing this error, and how can I fix it?
Thank you for any insight.
UPDATE
I was able to get the inventory query transactions to work again by ditching the account I was testing with, and switching to a new account. No code change.
My tentative conclusion is that something got corrupted in the user account I was using (?). During testing, I had hit it pretty hard with a lot of purchases of different in-app products -- but I still need to find out what happened, and make sure this doesn't happen to any of my users.
Please let me know if you have any experience with this. Thanks!
We had the same problem in one of our apps under test mode. Later, we figured out that, we had to clear the Cache of the Google Play Store app.
So you can try this -
Go your device's Settings menu.
Go to Applications (may also be labeled Application Manager).
Tab over to All Applications.
Search for and open the Google Play Store app. Tap on it, application settings will show
Tap on Clear Data and Clear Cache.
Now go back to your app and try to load inventory. It solved our problem.
I found by trial and error that if you query more than 20 items at once, it will fail with this error.
I submitted a patch for IabHelper.java that splits the list of SKUs into packets of 20 items each and does the query.
You can grab it there: https://code.google.com/p/marketbilling/issues/detail?id=123
I have the same issue with this log :
"InAppBillingManager.getSkuDetails: Input Error: skusBundle array associated with key ITEM_ID_LIST cannot contain more than 20 items."
this note had mentioned in IInAppBillingService.aidl file, see the documentation of the method getSkuDetails(..) .
So you should make the same process for each 20 items every time
I face same error but my issue is Date Time change
Go to setting and check your date time is accurate

I think this could be a fault with Facebook.com.
I started getting this yesterday in my iOS app which has been out for months.
