Android Developer Dashboard national/regional version - android

As many of you may know, Google has provided us with a nice Dashboard that shows us the current distribution of active Android devices along certain characteristics, such as platform version or screen size.
It would be nice to have some similar information, but counting devices only in a specific region or country. For example, I am a Hungarian developer currently working on applications that are almost certainly only useful for people living here, in Hungary. Thus, I don't need to know the world's statistics, only the Hungarian subset - which would be slightly different due to lesser and later availability of the devices and general economical reasons.
So far I could not find such statistics, so I ask you, have you ever stumbled upon something like that? Or shall I write to Google and ask for this seemingly not too complicated feature?

You could implement Google Analytics ( https://www.google.com.br/analytics/ ) on your app. There you can find all kinds of statistics, including country specific data.
Here is how to implement Analytics on you Android App: https://developers.google.com/analytics/devguides/collection/android/

It would be awesome if we had this from Google. There are a couple of sites/blogs that occasionally post info that can give you an idea. Device Atlas uses "mobile web data" - who knows what that means exactly but their numbers seem reasonable.

You can replace the "2017" with "2016" to get last year's report. Maybe they will have more in the future.

Is there any way to read hardware info with android auto from physical head-unit?

In the showcase app of android-auto samples inside the misc section which shows that now android auto is capable to get some information about car hardware information which I'm interested in EnergyLevel, car's mileage and many others.
However, I'm not sure whether my car would support and provide that information or not, so I would like to view it with the app before implementing some personal app then the problem comes up since the showcase app is not shown in a physical head unit.
The only solution (which does not include rooting my phone of course) I found is I have to distribute to google playstore or use internal test track which cost me 25$ just for registration to play console and it feels really weird to pay for something that I don't have an idea that it would exist or not.
So, Is there any way to use the showcase app or other app to get the information I need without really paying or rooting my phone?
Intention: Since those data seem like it is available, I think it would be possible to create a quality of driving app that may track your fuel usage status (fuel efficiency), your mileage to know how your driving performance, and many other features you may think of. And It would be great if it is an app on the phone because that would be easier to store/transfer those data for visualization later.
Example of an app I looking for: hardware info for android (This is for the phone but I want it for a car)

Android App name conflict

I am about to launch an android app and I have decided the name "Math addict" for it.
The problem is -
There is a website named mathaddict.com which has their software called Math addict but I couldn't find copyright documents on their website.
An app exists on Apple App store with the exact same name.
But there is no app with such name on Google Play as of now. Moreover I haven't copied anything from any lf these apps/softwares.
Is it advisable to use this name for my app? My apps have been suspended on Google Play in the past and hence I am little more apprensive this time.
Please suggest what can be done.
I also suggest you jse a different name, let's assume someone search's Math addict in google it is highly possible that the web site you mentionned and the app from app store will be shown at first so yours will be the last except if you do some good work on keywords optimisation,
You instead use something like Math addict app , mathapp, appmath
IANAL. As long as you are not trying to impersonate these other products, you should be fine. However, in the extreme case this can quickly lead to some ugly court battles if your app is in competition with these other websites and products. Assuming that you are a single developer, you probably don't have to worry about this. However, if you have a large success, then you might need to be concerned. The legal battles between Apple Computers and Apple Music are quite famous for fighting over the legal right to a name.
I really don't think you need to be worried about the legalities here. On the other hand, you want your app to be found and not to be confused with other similar apps. At this point, I think differentiating yourself from the competition is probably a much higher concern.
According to Google Play policy:
Impersonation or Deceptive Behavior: Don't pretend to be someone else,
and don't represent that your app is authorized by or produced by
another company or organization if that is not the case. Products or
the ads they contain also must not mimic functionality or warnings
from the operating system or other apps. Products must not contain
false or misleading information in any content, title, icon,
description, or screenshots. Developers must not divert users or
provide links to any other site that mimics or passes itself off as
another app or service. Apps must not have names or icons that appear
confusingly similar to existing products, or to apps supplied with the
device (such as Camera, Gallery or Messaging).

So I will highly suggest you to select a different name for safety.

Why installs graphs on Google Play look like sinusoid?

Many popular games on Google Play have "INSTALLS" graph shaped like a sinusoid:
This example was taken from here. Another examples: here and there. You can easily find more.
The question is: why?
It appears to be a weekly cycle. Some apps would be downloaded more often on weekdays, while others would be sought out more on weekends.
Some apps, as has already been noted, are more indifferent to weekends, and so do not exhibit a sinusoidal wave pattern of installs. These are probably the ones in demand by those who take their work home, or who play games at work, or who sleep, shower and eat 24/7 in campus-like Internet startups. Or else they are apps that are just work/play agnostic.
Not for all of them, look at Fing and Network Mapper to name some.
Update: Sorry, I see you notice the trend for most popular apps.
IDK why that is happening. I can't be related to time zones (i.e, assuming the major share of the market comes from the US and inferring that less people buy the app at night) as the graph is for the last 30 days.
Maybe something to do with how often Google indexes and updates this info?

How can I sell my Android apps in a country that doesn't officially supported for merchants by Android-Market?

I can't sell my applications on Android-Market because my country is not supported for merchants. Is there any other market-place which let you to use paypal or is there any way to get around this problem ?
Edit:Question was not clear , edited to avoid missunderstanding.
There are few alternative markets:
http://slideme.org/
http://www.openmarket.co.za/
http://andappstore.com
SlideMe looks more reliable from my perspective. Though they all are far not that popular as google android market.
There are literally dozens of Android markets. I've been studying them for a few months (and blogging some of the details, but they're not all up yet). Google is adding new paid locations regularly (check Wikipedia for the chart). So... If you know of specific countries that you want to hit, research them specifically and find out what markets are big there. Many markets are specific to a region (for example the Chinese markets, some of which aren't even in English))
Slide me is available everywhere, but strangely most of my sales from them are still from the USA. If you promote your app and direct people to SlideMe, however, you'll probably have decent results.
