I wonder to know, when downloading an application using google play store mobile app, does the downloaded data is encrypted or not?
If it does, since when?
App Encryption
Starting with Android 4.1, Google Play will help protect application
assets by encrypting all paid apps with a device-specific key before
they are delivered and stored on a device.

I'm having the same problem as the BBC iPlayer app for Android where our Android app is not available for download in the Isle of Man, from the Google Play store.
As IoM is part of the UK, it should be available already as the UK is a selected territory.
Does anyone know of a workaround apart from our users travelling to the UK and downloading it?

I would like to distribute an app already installed on a tablet. This is a single-purpose app. To get access to Google Play each tablet needs a Gmail account.
Is it a problem to always use the same gmail account?
How can I make a lot of gmail accounts?
You can use the same account on every device. I work for a company that makes apps and we have a test department with dozens of devices all logged in with the same gmail account.

Can anyone tell me , how exactly android assets are stored into device's storage after the instalation process ?
They appear to be left in the APK and accessed directly from there. That is, unless you copy them somewhere.

If I type ok maps I cache a particular area from the Google Maps to my mobile device. Is there any folder where these files are stored? I dived into folders but found nothing that can possibly be such place.
There's no visible location where the maps are saved, on Android devices some of the pointers are saved to /sdcard/Android/data/com.google.android.apps.maps/cache but other then that it's all saved on hidden cache partition.
if you want to back up the maps folder you can use this guide.
