I am trying to setup a Facebook app. Im using it for sharing and invites on my Android app.
I made a request to use "publish_actions" on Android, and it got approved.
But for some reason, on developers.facebook.com, when editing the app, under AppDetails, next to AppInfo on top is a icon that says "Unapproved" when hovered over.
On dashboard, i can see the green circle that says "Live and available to all users".
Invite notifications don't seem to be received (although they do get sent) so I'm thinking that this could be the problem?
How can i request approval of my AppInfo?
the app info is unapproved because the app doesn't have the numbers to get featured in the appcenter. When people go crazy about your app, and your installs grow, and the app usage too, you'll have the possibility to submit your app info for review. For notifications we need the code. It's a totally unrelated problem.

So I published my app on Google Play and it was pending so Google checks my app. But then they rejected my app and emailed me the reason:
The app's full description mentions other brands: Telegram.
The app's short description mentions other brands: Telegram.
Ironic is I cannot find a way to edit the app full/short descriptions on developer console.
It seems the only way is to change the package name and add my app as a new application.
Is that right? Or if there is a way to edit my app full/short descriptions?
Within Play Developer Console click on the app, then choose Store Presence then Store Listing on the left side menu and you'll be able to edit your short and long descriptions.

I have uploaded an Android App on Google Play Store and with a search today i can see this: http://www.androidappsgame.com/library-quiz/el
How come that my android app is uploaded to androidappsgame.com without my permission?
Any ideas?
This may or may not help, but make sure to check that first box in your console
The app is NOT on that store. That store is an aggregate site that grabs info from Google Play and makes it searchable. And it's not a very good one at that.
For the record, all of my apps are there too. I just looked. Even my newest ones are there.
You don't need to worry about anyone taking your app from Play and making it available elsewhere. It's just not gonna happen. And even if it did, 99% of devices out there have the system secured so you can't install stuff like that anyway.

I integrated a facebook like button to my Android game. Can I offer in-game reward (e.g. gold coins) to the player if he presses the like button?
I checked the Google Play Terms and such stuff, but we all know they are too general, and I don't know where else I can ask this. I know there are many Android developers here on stackoverflow.
I know that incentivizing the player for Google Play rating is prohibited, and it's the same with ad networks. But telling the user to like my own game page on Facebook in exchange for free gold in the game is allowed, isn't it?
I don't think Google Play has anything against this, but if I recall correctly, Facebook itself is pretty strict about incentivizing Likes and Shares using rewards (in-game or otherwise). It won't get your app removed from the Play Store, but it might get your Facebook API access revoked instead.
I've seen so many people doing it that I seriously doubt you'll get in any sort of trouble over it, but keep it in mind.

Last night I released a google play app and this morning it was in the play store and had even received a review.
Right now I checked and it isn't there anymore but it still says published.
Could it have been removed?
Last time i published an application, i couldnt see it in searchs for 1 week. Everything is possible with google play actually. But if they removed your application, u supposed to have a mail from them for sure. If u didnt, probably its a temporary problem. Wait today and if it wont be fixed, send a mail to them.
Try to go on this url using your application package:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=HERE_GOES_YOUR_PACKAGE
If it is there, you just have to wait for google to index it, sometimes it takes a couple of days.
You can also try this, that lists all your applications, this needs even more time then the app to get updated:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/developer?id=HERE_GOES_YOUR_PUBLISHER_NAME_ESCAPED_URL
Example for my app:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=it.cpiacente.fticker
https://play.google.com/store/apps/developer?id=Cristian+Piacente

Google Now is apparently part of the Google Search app. It allows users to open the Google Now interface by swiping up from the home button on most devices. While swiping, users can see an overlaid circle with the name "Google".
My question is, how would I, your average Android app developer, be able to make something that acts just like Google Now? I haven't been able to find anything in the Android SDK that lets you do stuff like that. Is it a feature of Android that only Google and ROM developers can use (because it is part of core Android source)? If so, why is it "part of the Google Search app"?
If you have an activity with an intent filter of android.intent.action.VOICE_COMMAND, then when the user swipes up it will ask them what app to launch. If they click to launch your app by default then everytime they swipe up they'll open your app.
