I integrated a facebook like button to my Android game. Can I offer in-game reward (e.g. gold coins) to the player if he presses the like button?
I checked the Google Play Terms and such stuff, but we all know they are too general, and I don't know where else I can ask this. I know there are many Android developers here on stackoverflow.
I know that incentivizing the player for Google Play rating is prohibited, and it's the same with ad networks. But telling the user to like my own game page on Facebook in exchange for free gold in the game is allowed, isn't it?
I don't think Google Play has anything against this, but if I recall correctly, Facebook itself is pretty strict about incentivizing Likes and Shares using rewards (in-game or otherwise). It won't get your app removed from the Play Store, but it might get your Facebook API access revoked instead.
I've seen so many people doing it that I seriously doubt you'll get in any sort of trouble over it, but keep it in mind.

I know, it's silly, but a client was telling us that having required input fields on an app will result in the app being rejected for approval on both Android and iOS app stores.
Besides the fact that there are tons of apps that require user account registration and stuff, I figured it'd be silly to even verify it by research but of course, to be sure, I did research about it, but as I expected, I was not able to find even one relevant result.
Since it will cause problems with app development, I decided to ask here to confirm.
Does anybody know of such rule when submitting apps to the Google Play Store or App Store?
I apologize in advance for what I know is a very silly question, but I humbly ask for confirmation.
Thank you very much in advance!
No, in Android we don't have this rule, so you can use input fields in your application without worrying.

I have uploaded an Android App on Google Play Store and with a search today i can see this: http://www.androidappsgame.com/library-quiz/el
How come that my android app is uploaded to androidappsgame.com without my permission?
Any ideas?
This may or may not help, but make sure to check that first box in your console
The app is NOT on that store. That store is an aggregate site that grabs info from Google Play and makes it searchable. And it's not a very good one at that.
For the record, all of my apps are there too. I just looked. Even my newest ones are there.
You don't need to worry about anyone taking your app from Play and making it available elsewhere. It's just not gonna happen. And even if it did, 99% of devices out there have the system secured so you can't install stuff like that anyway.

I published 2 android apps recently First app Second app and they are found by searching on google play. But when i search them on google search they don't show up. What can be the problem ? Also is there a way that google play will show my app a bit earlier, like finding some keywords to use or something ?
.
And will be thankful if someone lets me know if the apps look alright.
While publishing your app, you are notified that it takes time for the app to appear throughout the Play Store. Sometimes it appears on desktop version n later on mobile app. It takes about 3-4 hours before everyone gets it.
No, Google specifically prohibits the use of misleading keywords to increase your app's rank in the search. Make sure you include only relevant keywords in the description. The title can also contain extra words so that users find your app faster (e.g. Google's Hangouts app title on the Play Store is Hangouts (Replaces Talk))
Sometimes many applications in google play may have similar name of your application.
Give some fancy unique name to your application .

Is it legitimate to have a free 'lite' app on Google Play,
with an Amazon Apps link to the full version ?
I'm not sure for instance, Apple would approve of this. But Google is surely not Apple.
I have done this in one of my apps. The main problem with Google Play in relation to Apple is that "Approval" does not happen. "Removals" happen to anything that would be rejected after it has already been posted to the market. Next the accounts will be disabled following after a second offense. I would recommend not to take any chances unless being disabled is a risk you are willing to take.
That being said, I have had it there for 6 months with no issues. I however didn't make a direct link to the paid version through settings or anything. I simply made it so that after using the app 10 times and 7 days it would pop up a message asking if you would like to upgrade to an ad free version. I figured that in Google Plays testing process they aren't using each app for 7 days and 10 times.
Hope this helps

How do you improve the position of an app in Android Market search results? The apps don't seem to be sorted on downloads.
Edit: The scope of this question is limited to working with the Android Market search engine, of which there's little or no information. I changed the title to make it clearer.
:-)
Make an app everyone wants, that gets high user ratings and lots of downloads
Update your app frequently, since it shows up at the top in the "Just in"-tab on every update
Use your Social Media Network (Create Facebook groups, start promoting smart on Twitter). Set up a user wiki where everyone can add content, discuss your app and get a real buzz around it.
Buy Google listings
Create a Blog discussing the app and its outstanding performance
EDIT: Almost forgot: Your app should be free, with a possibility to go pro (= paid).
I would add to the answers:
make your app in a way that can be extended with plugins by 3rd party coders, that means they create and submit their apps to the Market as extensions to your app, and that will raise the results
