I was taking over someone else's android project and as such, asked the developer who was working on the project previously to transfer the app.
I found numerous resources on how to initiate the transfer including:
Transfer existing Android app to another developer account?
And the page on Google developer help dedicated to app transfers.
I have given the previous developer all the information required including the transaction ID, and it seems that the process has gone smoothly, he forwarded me this email:
Your transfer is complete!
Thanks for providing the necessary info for your application transfer.
Thanks for supporting Google Play!

Google Play Developer Support
So naturally, I wanted to push an update to the application, but it is nowhere to be seen in the developer console. Furthermore, could not find any info about the receiving end of app transfer on either Google play help, Stack Overflow or elsewhere.
Upon trying to find a contact point for this issue, I found myself lost, Google developer help offers only very specific topics and is more like an automated service than anything, even found this open letter:
http://www.androidpolice.com/2013/02/05/open-letter-please-help-yourself-to-helping-yourself-why-google-needs-to-rethink-the-concept-of-developer-support/
Have anyone experienced anything similar?
Thanks in advance
Turns out it was a problem on Google's side as Niek Haarman suggested.
If anyone faces something similar, this is what I did to contact Google:
I went to https://support.google.com/googleplay/android-developer/ and clicked Contact Us.
As app transfer does not offer email option, I went for
Publishing apps on Google Play > Published app isn't showing on Google Play
And described the issue.
Google contacted me the same day completing the transfer

I have released a new app onto the Apple app store and Google Play store. Now post release I have had some users complaining that they are receiving an error that the app is not available in their country or region.
I have made sure that all countries are selected in both App Store Connect and the Google Play back end. I know that from the Google side I had not previously allowed all all countries but I now how, hopefully this will solve the issue on that side. I do not understand however why when all countries are selected in Apple Connect why people would still be getting this error.
If it is helpful the app was built in the UK and was built using react native.
Any advice or suggestions?
Solved: It was an issue with the link that was being used. Client was using a link that they had found themselves rather than the one that I provided. Rookie mistake not checking that first!
We are developing an app in Ionic right now and published through the Play Store.
The current version of the app has been made available in all countries available in the list on the Google Play Console portal, however some users from a specific country are reporting not being able to find it when searching and being told that "not available in your region" when viewing the web listing.
We have tried fixing it by going to the console and making the app available through the whole Store, but that hasn't fixed the problem so far.
We are out of ideas on what to check to figure out what's wrong :(
Managed to solve by viewing direct listing instead of going through search.
I uploaded a new version of my app of the google play store, now I can't find it there using any of the following methods:
Searching for its name.
Searching by its package.
Seaching on my pc and on my device.
The apps by the same developer its doesn't show in that list.
On the console it says published, and even can click the link to view in google store, and I do see it there. Buts its not in any of the searchs above?
Why is this?
Thanks
UPDATE - I don't have an answer to this. I have the link for the app on the store, but any search doesn't work, not on a device and not on a pc. I have waited over 2 weeks, and its still not there. Also, its not showing with the other apps I made, from the same developer. Thanks!
The answer is that the app was only distributed to one country. Now I selected all countries, its shows up in the search.
The most likely reason is that the update is still in progress. An app listing can sometimes take a few hours to work it's way through the submission process and out to all of the Google servers.
Also, if you changed any of the device requirements (which may be implied by the permissions requested), it could exclude your device(s) from seeing the app. The easiest way to check for this is to do the Google Play search via a web browser. If any/all your devices are excluded, the listing will say so near the top of the page.
I had same issue. I think in my case I didn't choose option "Contains ads: Yes, it has ads" in my play console afrer updating app with added ads.
To change that in Play Console go to your app; then "Store presence"->"Pricing & distribution" and choose "Yes, it has ads" in "Contains ads" section. In my case it helped immidiately, now I can find app by some keywords.
before start telling any thing friends i have already searched for my required concept but did not get any useful thing. So We have server where developer can upload his app(iPhone or android) and can run its app download increase campaign. So important is that developer can also be able to watch like how much app downloads provided by any campaign, so how can i do that ?
what will be the development conceptual view for such tracking SDK ?
what if developer already integrated more than one different advertising servers campaigns SDK's ?
How we can decide due to which advertising server any developer app download happen due to us or some one else campaign ?
Please share any of your suggestions, advance thanks for any kind of help :)
I published my new application 16 hours ago.
I can see my application only by visiting the direct link:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=development.nk.cretanrecipes
The problem is that i can not see my application in my developer's link:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/developer?id=NKdevelopment
In addition to that my app is not indexed, so nobody can find my app by searching it...
Should i wait a few more hours or i have done something wrong? Should i contact google ?
Thank you
Google Play can be notoriously slow, both for the Developer Console and the Front End for users.
I've seen apps go live and not turn up on my Developer page for close to 48 hours. There is no way you did anything wrong, as Google Play doesn't provide any option for you to omit apps from your developer page which you may have accidentally enabled.
I'd recommend waiting for a day or two more. If it still doesn't turn up, you could try contacting Google Play support, but I wouldn't get my hopes high about even receiving a response.
