How to disable the new HeadsUp notifications on android L. My app basically works as a app blocker and must not allow access to the blacklisted apps. For eg. If call app is blocked then user must not be able to access caller app. But, whenever any incoming call is received, it shows heads up notification on any screen. Whenever any such app is accessed by clicking the headsup notification the app gets blocked but in call case call can be received/rejected. Can we block such notifications in android.

When I am visiting Android web messages https://messages.android.com/ it gives me Pairing Error. After clicking on OK button same error message comes again. Any idea how to solve this Pairing Error?
FYI: This is a new feature for Android Messages to send text message from Web. Same feature is available on WhatsApp
I had this same issue; it was caused by a rogue Chrome extension. Try disabling some of your extensions. Mine was caused by an extension called "Referer Control". It was also preventing me from sending Hangouts messages.

Twenty days ago I deleted a Google Developer Console project. However I forgot that it's was / linked to an android application for GCM notification. I can't even see the deleted projects from my console.
I have about 1M users registered and I can't send push notifications. I have tried to send push notifications but they failed for all my applications.
Can anyone help me to restore my project or at least is it possible to send push notifications even the project with SENDER_ID and API_KEY (old implementation) had been deleted?

I just came across an app called App Locker II: Fake Crash, it fakes an app crash. You just add the app (say WhatsApp) to the list in App Locker II: Fake Crash and next time when you try to launch WhatsApp, a screen comes up saying The application WhatsApp (com.whatsapp) has stopped unexpectedly.
How does this actually work ? Is the crash faked or WhatsApp actually crashes down ?
I would be delighted to know how does this work.
I think that app observes the running processes and creates on start of such a "blacklisted app" a custom dialog with that message you quoted above. In a second step the app will been closed or the home launcher is started. However the reviews point out that it does not work very well.

I would like to enable mouse and\or touch input on a secondary display on Android.
Is it possible? It seems like secondary display is only targeted for presentations on HDMI or WiFi Displays where touchscreen doesn't normally exist.
However I don't see why I shouldn't be allowed to plug in mouse and allow it to move from primary display to secondary one. Or have the mouse exclusively on a secondary monitor.

I have a Galaxy Note 8.0 and a Galaxy s3. Both running on 4.1.2. All of my accounts are synced on both devices. That is why I get the same notif on both device.
I have searched and found that Google mentioned this on their I/O, I think last June.. But i am not aware if this is being implemented.
Is there a way to sync notifications across android devices?
For example, when I swipe a notif on my S3, the notif that is on the Note too will be deleted.
If I close a Facebook chat head or replied to that person, the notif of it on my Note would also be closed.
Thank you for your help. :)
