When I am visiting Android web messages https://messages.android.com/ it gives me Pairing Error. After clicking on OK button same error message comes again. Any idea how to solve this Pairing Error?
FYI: This is a new feature for Android Messages to send text message from Web. Same feature is available on WhatsApp
I had this same issue; it was caused by a rogue Chrome extension. Try disabling some of your extensions. Mine was caused by an extension called "Referer Control". It was also preventing me from sending Hangouts messages.

I have set up mitmproxy on Ubuntu, and have linked my android device to it. I can view traffic coming from the android browser but when I launch an app, it does not show me any traffic from the app (any app it seems), even though the app is connecting to the internet. What am I doing wrong?
The mitmproxy command I am running is ~mitmproxy --host
This is probably because of SSL pinning read about it here or it could be that the app is ignoring the Android proxy settings, but most likely SSL pinning from my experience
http://docs.mitmproxy.org/en/stable/certinstall.html#certificate-pinning

I have this app "Networking Cables",
someone sent to me email, he say:
"Avast android anti-virus detected "Android:Looter-Z" [PUP]"
in my app,
when I check my app No virus.
What does this mean?????
I suggest checking this post from Avast. It appears that there was an issue in their detection with whatever definitions your user is using. They recommend just updating your definitions and trying again. I would suggest this to your user.

I am using Ubuntu operating system. I have installed eclipse with recent version of android plug in (kitkat). But my virtual device is not connecting to Internet. I am using wifi Internet so how can I connect it to wifi ?
I think Data Connection is disabled in your Emulator. You can enable it by pressing F8. Once you done it, It will show you 3G icon in the title bar of emulator.

I have been getting "Virus Detected" message on Gmail for one the Android apps I have been developing. Weirdly enough, its not that Gmail does not allow apk attachments, because I have emailed various other apk's before on Gmail, and those apps can still be attached and sent successfully. Only this app is having such problems.
So my question is, what could possibly be the problem here and where should i look to fix it in the application?
Gmail poorly support apk attachments. Use other methods such as,
Dropbox.

I have a Galaxy Note 8.0 and a Galaxy s3. Both running on 4.1.2. All of my accounts are synced on both devices. That is why I get the same notif on both device.
I have searched and found that Google mentioned this on their I/O, I think last June.. But i am not aware if this is being implemented.
Is there a way to sync notifications across android devices?
For example, when I swipe a notif on my S3, the notif that is on the Note too will be deleted.
If I close a Facebook chat head or replied to that person, the notif of it on my Note would also be closed.
Thank you for your help. :)
