I would like to be able to receive notifications, when I receive a negative rating with a review on my Google Play Store account. Have any of you tried this and do you know how this can be done?
So far, the only interesting thing I have found are Alerts, but those seem to only be interested in the number of times my applications has been installed and uninstalled. Maybe there is a way that I could get alerts customized?
On your Google Play Developer Console, you can currently receive 4 types of app alerts:
Crashes
Installs
Average rating. The Average Rating of your app has significantly decreased compared to the previous week. If the Average Rating has decreased in a specific country, language, or on specific device, additional details may be mentioned in the alert.
Uninstalls.

So I have uploaded a game app on the google play store and currently, it's up for pre-registration. The problem is, even though I have ensured that quite a number of people have pre-registered but the play console dashboard is not updating and it's showing zero. I couldn't find any proper answer to this question. Can anyone kindly tell me why this might be happening and when it'll be updated?

I had same problem so I asked google support and I got this reply.
Thanks for contacting the Google Play Developer Support team.
I understand that you have concerns regarding your app's statistics for pre-registration users.
Unfortunately, If pre-registration sign-ups have a low number of users, Google Play Console won't display pre-registration sign-up data. For privacy reasons, Google doesn't display pre-registration sign-up data when there are a low number of users. But rest assured, once you've reach or surpassed the threshold you will see the stats for your pre-registration
1 Week Later:
Now my registration crossed 50 and reached around 100. It started showing a 50 sign-up count in the play console. Maybe we have to cross 50 to show numbers, and it takes 3 to 4 days to update the last number.
We currently have about 10,000 android devices of those 10,000. About 8,800 of those devices are running Android 7.1.1. On two of the eight applications installed on these devices, we decided to use firebase analytics to be able to collect useful data about how users are using our applications.
Upon looking at the data that was collected in the first week. App_open, a number of events that are being logged from the device. The results did not seem reflective of our user base.
The number of users who had information being logged was roughly about 800 users.
Its should be noted that we do not use the google play store to release and update our application and use the device manufacturer's store to upload and update the applications on these devices.
I know that the information that is collected or logged from the device is cached and posted by google play services.
However, I cannot seem to find a reason why there is such a great disparity in actual and expected results. I was expecting feedback from roughly 8,800 devices.
There are few reasons:
10k devices doesn't mean that they use your app, according to this article apps have in average 29% retention rate within 90 days but it can be much lower(from my experience it can be less then 2%), so in fact at least 70% of users not using your app.
The users that use your app doesn't updated to latest version with analytics.
Also you need to keep in mind that 800 users some of them are new users that just downloaded the app, firebase analytics show all the statistics so in few weeks you will see your retention rate.
we have a business where we have developed an android platform in 1,000 devices inside taxis.
For this, we need to login 1,000x into play store.
We have used one account so far (test#gmail.com) but it seems that often it automatically logs out on many devices, even though it should permanently be logged in, to receive software updates.
We currently tried to log in around 80 devices, but about 40 of them get logged out of Play Store.
Is the issue that we can't login multiple devices with 1 account or what can be the problem?
Are we able to use one account and keep them logged in on all devices?
From Google Play Terms of Service
Limits on access on Devices. Google may from time to time place limits
on the number of Devices and/or software applications you may use to
access Content (for more information, please visit the Help link for
the relevant Content within Google Play). Google may record and store
the unique device identifier numbers of your Devices in order to
enforce such limits.
I have developed few apps, and published them on google playstore, but it is not showing number of installs to user.
What's wrong in that, can you help me in that?
Look at this screenshot to understand my problem, there is no additional information shown for number of installs
My apps can be seen here.
By the way is google analytics code neccessary to show it?
I didn't implemented analytics code in my app.
It is not showing number of installs to user.
For new apps it takes around 1.5 to 2 days before the first set of download statistics show up. (if there are downloads during that period). Ratings on the other hand reflect immediately.
Also, If you see in on your developer console and not on your play store app: clear cache for the playstore app and restart the play store app. It will show up.
By the way does google analytics code neccessary to show it ? i didn't
implemented analytic code in my app.
No, implementing analytics in your app is not necessary. But, it is recommended if you want to have more accurate and sometimes real time overviews of your app details.
I published my app last night. It took several hours for it to show up, but eventually it did. It's called "Interesting Wikipedia," but when you search those exact words, it doesn't show up. The direct url works: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tierramaxis.interestingwikipedia
Any ideas? The strange thing is, earlier this morning I searched and it was about the 5th entry in the results. When I searched later though, it's not showing any more. I scrolled through about 250 results and it never showed.

Initial Publish:
I am guessing this is your first app. New apps aren't usually going to be returned at the top of the app search.
When you first publish your application, you need to be patient and wait for Google Play to update and process your application.
For instance, your app is not found under your own developer name:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/developer?id=Kevin+Bright,+Inc.
I did not see it in your search your provided either:
https://play.google.com/store/search?q=interesting%20wikipedia&c=apps
The direct link should always work:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tierramaxis.interestingwikipedia
Here are a few things to improve your visibility:
Ratings(I see you already rated your own app)
Sharing your app(Social sites)
Updating "Full Description"(To be easier to read)
Creating a "Short Description"(Try to fill out all the fields provided by Google Play)
Always remember that this is a game of marketing. The more you invest the more will you rise on all social & commercial sites? Let me explain what happened when you upload an application to the
play store...
You will not able to find the app when searching by its name in Google Play Store because your application is not ranked against google distribution servers.
The Play Store is not as easy as we think it is. So these are some
things to implement if you want success...
First of all, Remember that Google won't push your app to the top until you've had more reviews and downloads than your competitors. There are a few things you can do to try and improve your position.
Try to get a more unique name for your App (But must contain a keyword).
Get as many friends and family members as you can to download and review your app.
Use the name a few times in the description of your app.
Improve the text in your app description and info sections on the listing.
Give it some time and perform ASO (APP Store Optimization)
Promote your application across different platforms like Blogs, youtube, Facebook pages.
Use ad services like google ads or Facebook ads to gain organic users.
I published an application with a unique name "Weather++" one month back and It's ranked with the help of ASO and proper keywords. It has 1000+ reviews and 50,000+ downloads in a short period of time.
So remember….
(Formula for my success)
ASO + App Markeetring + Reviews = App Ranking
ASO+ AM+ R = AR
Play store rank apps on top based on good ASO and deep links associated with apps along with downloads and reviews. (Always remember to gain organic users)
