Why my app doesn't appear in chromecast.com/apps? - android

I have developed an Android app with chromecast compatibility, i have finished all the setup on Google Cast SDK Developer Console, my app runs well on my devices and also in other android devices an other chromecast devices, is published correctly, but is not apearing in this List.
What more I have to do to list my app in this page?

Since this is not a coding question, it would be best if you contact our support team; they will be able to help you address your issue and make your app appear in the right place.

Use Android Studio Emulator to Test Flight outside apps: Possible?

I made an app using the Adalo framework and have published it on the Apple App Store already. Now for Google:
I've set everything up on the Google Play Console and it's ready for testing. For some reason it won't open on my wife's phone and that's the only Android phone I have access to. Would it be possible to view it with Android Studio Emulator? It seems like not from what I can gather through search. How about other Emulators, is it possible to load the *.aab file directly for a quick look? Any other suggestions short of buying a new phone that I don't need?

Do Android Instant Apps work as advertised?

I'm researching the feasibility of developing an Instant App that users can launch from clicking a URL, NFC tag QR code. All backed by App Links, of course.
Instant Apps have been around for 5 years but are they actually supported? I've found some companies that have Instant Apps:
BuzzFeed
Vimeo
HotPads
RedBull TV
Expectation:
I'd expect to be able to tap any Vimeo URL anywhere and it would open the company's Instant App. I also expect the same behavior from a URL that gets resolved from a QR code or NFC tag. That's what the Google I/O videos suggest, anyway.
Reality:
On a Pixel 3 running Android 11, the ONLY way I can get an Instant App to open is by clicking the “Try Now” button in Google Play. The two IA-related system settings don't seem to change anything.
After launching the IA app from Google Play first, links from those companies always open the Instant App as expected. That's fine, but defeats the purpose if I need to go to Google Play anyway.
More context: I am in the US, and I'm signed into the Google Play store. I've turned on every IA setting I've found as well.
Question:
Is there any way to simply share a link and go to the Instant App directly?
After a day of research and trying different things, I finally got Instant Apps to work for me. Clicking a link, scanning a QR code or tapping an NFC tag all work without having to go to Google Play first.
The problem I had was that I was signed into all my Android test devices using a Google Workspace account (i.e. not a #gmail.com email address). Once I switched to a Gmail account, Instant Apps worked seamlessly. Give that a shot if you're running into the same issue. This requirement is not documented.

How to make a private Chromecast app, not meant to be published?

I have downloaded the CastVideos-android and made changes to it so it fits my needs... But probably only my needs! It will not be usable by anyone else, this is for my intranet configuration only...
It works fine using the app_id provided in the refplayer, but changing it to my own app_id, the Chromecast icon doesn't show up. This has to do with the app not being correctly registered at the Dev Console, but...
Since this is an app that is never meant to be published, what do I do to make the icon appear and my app to work for me, myself and I alone?
Thank you!
You can login to your Cast Developer Console and add the serial numbers of the Chromecast devices that you own. Doing that allows those cast devices to recognize your unpublished app; for a small number of Cast devices, this is a pretty manageable solution.

How to make my Android-Chromecast app visible in the official Chromecast apps Google page?

Must I do anything more? I published them three days ago
Thank you in advance

Can't find Android App in Google play Store

i have my own app called Geoperks-rewards for you, the problem is i am not able to find my app from google play store for some handsets and even in tablet pc>Can anyone tell me what actually might be the reason behind this.I cannot specifically say for which models and OS versions, its appearing for random models.
The App compatibility depends on many factors, i.e. screen sizes, OS version, device hardware support, some features added in app, etc... All this information is provided on Android Developer website by Google. You can go through the topic Filters on Google Play and maybe revise the manifest.xml file of your app. You might get some idea why it is not compatible with several devices.
