I searched a whole day on dozens of past stackoverflow questions but didn't find a exaustive answer about...
aren't fragments handled automatically by the backstack? or have I to implement it manually? (onBackStackChanged?)
or is there anything missing or wrong in my code?
this is a simplified test version instead of my whole (big) app written to replicate the problem
i have FragmentOne replacing with Fragment Two clicking the button
tapping the back button the app exits
thank you in advance

BEFORE YOU DO ANY OF THIS MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A BACKUP OF YOUR PROJECT AS I HAVE NOT TESTED THIS!!!
INSIDE COORDINATORLAYOUT
Before the fragment_container I want you to place a FrameLayout, make sure it's layout_height is wrap_content. I want you to make it's id equal to realtabcontent. I want you to add the attribute layout_weight to fragment_container and make it equal to 1.
I want you to delete fragment main layout, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A BACKUP OF THIS PROJECT!!!
INSIDE MAINFRAGMENT
I want you to change onCreateView to:

So I have gone through many answers on StackOverFlow but could not get this working. I want to switch fragments on navigation drawer item click. I am using the default navigation drawer in Android Studio 1.5.
I followed this answer, i have made sure that i have all my fragments created. The problem is whenever i click on any menu item the app stops working. Here's what I have till now.

I have added FrameLayout to content_main.xml file as it was suggested in the question i referred to. Any help is appreciated.
By your logcat, error is:
com.internetwarz.sploon.MainActivity#3caae0bc must implement OnFragmentInteractionListener
I think the error happened because your parent activity (MainActivity.java) did not implement this method: OnFragmentInteractionListener
You can see by the comments:
/**
* This interface must be implemented by activities that contain this
* fragment to allow an interaction in this fragment to be communicated
* to the activity and potentially other fragments contained in that
* activity.
*/
public interface OnFragmentInteractionListener {
// TODO: Update argument type and name
void onFragmentInteraction(Uri uri);
}
So, the solution would be:
public class MainActivity extends AppCompatActivity
implements NavigationView.OnNavigationItemSelectedListener,
FacebookFragment.OnFragmentInteractionListener {
....
// Add the method below to MainActivity.java
private void onFragmentInteraction(Uri uri) {
// Do something or just return
Toast.makeText(this, "Success", Toast.LENGTH_SHORT).show();
}
}
I am tring to implement tabs with fragment and a navigation view attacted but while running the project it doesn't shows the title for tabs and getting an error cannot resolve method getString(int)

Change
getString(R.string.category_page_title);
To
getResources().getString(R.string.home_page_title);
Did you try to use the application context to getString? Do you get the crash when launch the app?
I think you should put array title to arrays.xml
<string-array name="title" >

home_page_title

category_page_title

trending_page_title

</string-array>
and in FixedTabsPagerAdapter
private String[] titles;
public FixedTabsPagerAdapter(FragmentManager fm) {
super(fm);
titles = getResoures().getStringArray(R.arrays.title);
}
...
#Override
public CharSequence getPageTitle(int position) {
return titles[position];
}
Please suggest me how implement Swipe left or right in my app? Is page viewer or gesture can be used. I get content for text view from string array when item clicked. I am new to app development.

I didn't understand if that actually what you trying to do but as i understood if you want the TextView moves automatically in one line to show the rest of it make this:
<TextView
android:id="#+id/textView"
android:layout_width="wrap_content"
android:layout_height="wrap_content"
android:ellipsize="marquee"
android:focusable="true"
android:focusableInTouchMode="true"
android:freezesText="true"
android:marqueeRepeatLimit="marquee_forever"
android:scrollHorizontally="true"
android:singleLine="true" />
and in code after defining it's view make this:
textView.setChecked(true);
