Android LinearLayout and RecyclerView BottomNavigation Alignment

so I can't figure out how to align my bottom navigation in a LinearLayout under a RecyclerView. The items are RecyclerView:

Not sure but try adding this:
android:layout_gravity="bottom"

If you don't want to change to RelativeLayout, set this attribute to the RecyclerView:
android:layout_weight="1"
This way the RecyclerView will take all the available space pushing the BottomNavigationView to the bottom.

You Can't adjust your BottomNavigationView properly inside LinearLayout. If there are so many items in your RecyclerView then BottomNavigationView will be hidden at the bottom. So you must use RelativeLayout to align it at the bottom and other layouts above of BottomNavigationView. Please check the bellow modified layout.

How to make toolbar fixed while scrolling in android?

I have researched all the previous question before posting this question none of the previous solution worked for me. I need to make my Toolbar static while scrolling it goes up while scrolling butI need to make it static how can i do this. Now let me explain what are all the methods I have tried so far,

Remove app:layout_scrollFlags="scroll|enterAlways" this from Toolbar and check scroll.

CoordinatorLayout & RelativeLayout screen space difference

Why extra space in bottoms gets considered in screen calculation when i use CoordinatorLayout and not when i use RelativeLayout.

i am adding fragments to the FrameLayout which has FAB. in case of CoordinatorLayout my FAB button gets hidden under navigation menu button.

fragment from viewPager hidding behind on tab of action bar

Actually i am trying to build a listView/recyclerView . On scrolling of list the actionbar get hide where action bar is toolbar but the some part of listview is hiding behind the tab. Here i have used AppBarLayout and toolbar having app:layout_scrollFlags="scroll|enterAlways" and in my recylerview have app:layout_behavior="#string/appbar_scrolling_view_behavior" behaviour. I can use linear Layout but problem is for sliding of toolbar the AppBarLayout must be the child of CoordinatorLayout.

When you put your component, order them by the position, every component will be over the precedent, if there's no space !

Thanks to Daniel Nugent that I forgot to write android:layout_below="#+id/sliding_tabs" inside viewpager and also remove framelayout and height must be wrapcontent now my final code is this which is working
