How to convert From string to image file - android

I am developing a simple android photo uploader. I have a Gallery activity, there I can select the pictures. After that I am sending the image names with path because i need to show them.
How can I make files out of these names and point to the actual image for the upload?

Android: get uri realpath return null

The code below uploads a file for an user. How can I fix it? I selected a file from my drive and data.getData() is not null, but get real path does not work:

How to get the file path of the document attached from Android File Manager

I am trying to attach the document from Android default File Manager and Uploading to server.But not able to get the path of file.Its giving the path as
"Intent { dat=content://com.google.android.apps.docs.storage/document/acc=1;doc=6 flg=0x1 }"
How to convert it into proper path so that it provides proper path with file name.

Get file path with FileProvider

I'm developing an app and one of the features is for the user to be able to backup their SQLite Database. The data is mainly text and images. I create a zip file with the .json and image files.

I successfully restore all the data/files from the .zip file but when i use the FileUtils.getPath() function on the restored image Uri i get
java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: column '_data' does not exist
I assume this is because the Uri of the restored images is content://com.appLab.AnglersDiary.provider/external_files/NEW%20EXTRACT/catchImgBackup_0_19f3eb40-8f3a-4140-b68b-745b8c820dd4.jpg
What is a solution for handling that type of Uri in my app?

Android: All file ain't readable. File finder

i'am trying to make a finder to get '.pdf', i got my Uri the file exist but he always return false for File.canRead()
Just before trying to upload that document on my parse server i log this:

Just maybe you dont have permissions to read the file. The file can be stored with permission that doesnt allow you to read in other applications.

Android (Java) - If i select a picture from gallery app crash

I've developing a Android App and if i select a picture from gallery is the app crash.
On old devices (4.0.2) its works fine but on galaxy s4 its not work.
