How to build trapezoid shape in xml android? - android

I want to build this shape with bottom line and text inside it i'm confused little bit how to achieve this i tired
some code but don't get required thing.

I highly recommend create custom text view for do that it would be more flexible and under control. You need to create path object and with that object you will define your view corners. And if you want view as text you need to override onDraw(Canvas canvas) function you will call canvas.draw(path, paint) method. If you need not only for text field you should override any view group class but for view groups you should override onDispatchDraw function to do that.
You can create your shape like below example

Android Circle Button with 4 stripes

I am trying to create a circle button in Android that has 4 diagonal stripes in it.
(Sorry for my poor photo editing skills.
The circle should be full and not cut off as shown.
Tried to use the layer-list and added a background button didn't work.
Any idea how to do it?

but the above code applies border to all borders not just bottom border. I added the separate shape xml to the relativelayout but it didn't work which I assume the view with gradient covers it maybe?? I'm quiet lost. thanks for your help.
The android:bottom attribute is actually the "bottom offset in pixels" as noted here about layer-list drawables. There is no explicit way to create a rectangle that is stroked only on one side.

By my way of thinking, it already has rounded corners.
In case you want them more rounded, you will need to:
Clone all of the nine-patch PNG images that make up an EditText background (found in your SDK)
Modify each to have more rounded corners
Clone the XML StateListDrawable resource that combines those EditText backgrounds into a single Drawable, and modify it to point to your more-rounded nine-patch PNG files
Use that new StateListDrawable as the background for your EditText widget
