There are few posts about getParams() not working anymore for JsonObjectRequest volley request.
Alternatively either you can use StringRequest or do a little tweak in your request as below

The problem was a couple of things.
I replaced "params.put("resource", "window.location.origin"); " with "params.put("resource", "https://lw.xxx.co.uk");"
Also, I found out that Volley ignore the getHeaders override, so I commented that method out and used the following to set the headers.

I always get invalid username/password which has been handled in api in case there is invalid username and password.In this case api is not receiving the params.
I tried to do it with retrofit and its working fine with it that means there is no problem at API coding. What am I missing here in case of volley?

However I am still trying to figure out why JsonobjectRequest did not work.
As far as I can tell by looking at JsonObjectRequest your 3rd parameter is null, and it indicates the JsonObject request - by the documentation "jsonRequest - A JSONObject to post with the request. Null is allowed and indicates no parameters will be posted along with request."

Note: It worked for me, I'm not sure about others.
Changes are: Change JsonObjectRequest to StringRequest and removing any Content-Type doesn't make any difference, so I removed it.
Also, make sure all the params have some values i.e test it by logging.
I'm developing an Android app that communicate with a RESTful web service I wrote. Using Volley for GET methods is awesome and easy, but I can't put my finger on the POST methods.
I want to send a POST request with a String in the body of the request, and retrieve the raw response of the web service (like 200 ok, 500 server error).
All I could find is the StringRequest which doesn't allow to send with data (body), and also it bounds me to receive a parsed String response.
I also came across JsonObjectRequest which accepts data (body) but retrieve a parsed JSONObject response.
I decided to write my own implementation, but I cannot find a way to receive the raw response from the web service. How can I do it?
