I have integrated firebase analytics into my android project but I am not able to understand how to manage campaign tracking with firebase analytics.
Right no we are seeing only 3 parameter
direct
Not set
google-play
but our promotion is going on at Facebook, Google, Whatsapp etc sites, unfortunately, we are not able to track how many installs from which campaign.
As I know we can track by google Campaign Measurement but it needs google analytics and I don't want to add Google analytics in my project again.
If anyone has a better solution for this problem kindly propose to me.
In order to track installs coming from google adwords you have to connect your adwords account to your firebase project by following the steps listed in here :
https://support.google.com/adwords/answer/6333536?co=ADWORDS.IsAWNCustomer%3Dfalse&hl=en
Once you do so a new 4th source would start appearing under the name "google" this will report back on installs coming specifically from your Adwords account campaigns connected to firebase.
Unfortunately for Facebook and Whatsapp you have to either use deep_links when available but you cannot track from firebase directly.
I hope this answer helps.
Good luck !

I released my app on 30th July, Today I ran a Promotion Campain got a good amount of users but out of sudden got this email from Google Play Store.
It's a Violation of Usage of Android Advertising ID policy and section 4.8 of the Developer Distribution Agreement.
Now, See I didn't have any type of ads in my app. Didn't use Firebase Analytics. Firebase plugin I use is cloud_firestore. Only the In-app purchase. I used Flutter's official In-app purchase plugin and unlike what this email says not a single data from In-app-Purchase is saved to Firestore. The only info I save about a user is their Email.
I didn't have a background from Android and didn't know all nitty and gitty's about PlayStore. I searched on google and GitHub and nothing helpful comes out.
Can anyone help me with this? I am facing a huge loss since my Promotional Campaign have been started tho app is down. :(
I am trying to figure out the way to see AdMob earnings data on Analytics. I would like to see, for example, the earnings produced by the New Users segment. I have already linked my AdMob and Firebase accounts but I still can't see how to generate this kind of reports.
As this google tutorial, you can do it:
First, go to your AdMob account and on analyze tab, click on Link to Firebase on the app you want to connect, confirm the policy confirmation and select your project. You will be promted to integrate the Firebase SDK
I hope it helps :)
How my app was installed, how to track where the downloads are coming from, through which partner (advertising publisher)?
For example, I created ads in Facebook or in AdMob. User saw the ads, clicked on them, was redirected to the Google Play Store where he downloaded my app. How can I know that this user downloaded my app by clicking on the Facebook or AdMob ads? Does Google Analytics track and show this info?
You can easily set up install tracking for Mobile Apps:
Enable app install tracking in your account.
Install tracking is automatically enabled in Google Analytics for Android apps. You don’t have to do anything!
Update your Google Analytics SDK.
You need to change a few lines in their manifest file. Refer to the Developer Guide for Android for specific example on how to do this.
Set up Custom Campaigns.
Custom Campaigns are a Google Analytics feature that add parameters to the URL of your marketplace page where users download your app. It’s these parameters that tell Google Analytics what marketplaces your traffic comes from. Get an overview of Custom Campaigns in Google Analytics and how they work. You must set up Custom Campaigns for each platform you’re using.
Analyze your data using the Mobile App Sources report.
If you complete the steps outlined above, your data will appear in the Mobile App Sources report. Use this report to find out what brings users to your download page in each marketplace.

Can Somebody guide me that is it possible to integrate Google Analytics with already published Android apps on Google play?
Because I have tried creating an account on Google analytics and then I connected Google developer account with it. At Google analytics I
created an admin account.
created a property.
created a user view.
integrate it with one of my already published app.
But even after 24 hours I can see nothing on Google analytics.
So Is it really the only way to write trackers in code before launching it? But as I got to some point by connecting app to analytics I think there might be a way to do so with already published apps.
I have done with iOS app, I missed in first version and then later added. It works properly. Just check time graph, there it will display always a day you can change date and can check.
To enable Analytics in your app you need to link the app to Google Play Services and initialize Google Analytics following the developer guide:
https://developers.google.com/analytics/devguides/collection/android/v4/#setup-overview
Unfortunately, this can not be done after you have shipped your app. It requires app update.
Do they have a statistics page with details about how many downloaded the app etc. Or do I have to use an analytics service?
After logging in to the Amazon Developer Portal, navigate to 'Reporting' in the top nav and then 'Engagement' in the subnav.
[Link Updated]
From the Amazon Developer console, visit the sales link to see the number of downloads of an app. Amazon uses sales for app download count. On the Sales page, you will see the number of downloads per market i.e uk, india etc listed for you.
The Engagement page is for Amazon Mobile Analytics which is not what you required.
Hope this help someone
Go to https://developer.amazon.com/
Login using your account
Click on Developer Console
Click on Reporting
In the Overview section it will show you the number of units sold. This is Amazon's term for downloads.
You'll need to log into the Amazon developer portal
App Annie support Amazon analytics so you may find it easier to use them.
After logging in to the Amazon Developer Portal click on REPORTING, then click on Engagement beta ...
they provide twelve months of Free access to the AWS
