Any Admob and Adsense expert here?
I uploaded one of my application in play store about 7-8 months ago. In this application, ad serving works fine. But yesterday AdMob sent me an email explaining below issue. My application downloads videos from Facebook and it plays videos.
Which AdMob policy is violated by this application. There are hundreds of applications are available in the Play Store which has the same concept. How could I solve this issue and How could I enable ad serving in my application again. My application is downloaded more than 15k times So I can't ignore my application.

As stated in our program policies, we may not show Google ads on pages with little to no value and/or excessive advertising until changes are made. This includes but is not limited to:
-Mirroring, framing, scraping or rewriting of content from other sources without adding value
-Pages that don’t follow our Webmaster quality guidelines."
have you got email account disable related?, they send email with bit of Violation information and also send one time appeal form link for continue account. you should appeal with all information, they reply in 24 hour and if they found if was not violation then enable your account.

I'm struggling to understand the process of publishing an App that has AdMob ads in the Play Store.
In order to use the AdMob SDKs the app must be reviewed by AdMob.
In order to review the App must be listed in a supported app store, in my case this will be the Play Store.
In order to publish on the Play Store the policy declaration forms need to be filled in.
For publishing within the EU, the policies require GDPR compliance one of which is to collect user consent.
The problem is I'm collecting the consent using the UserMessagingPlatform SDK, which does not work unless the App is reviewed (according to UserMessagingPlatform invalid response from server)
So now there is a circular dependency:
I cannot (truthfully) state that my app is GDPR compliant.
This prevents my app from being published on the Play Store
Which prevents the review by AdMob
Which prevents the user consent form from working
Which prevents me from stating that the app is GDPR compliant
One way to resolve this is publish an ad-free version first, review it by AdMob, then proceed by adding the ads.
Is this the intended workflow of publishing the app?
After a clarification by the support, they clarified that there are two steps of verification/reviews: The first is the verification of the account (more so of the account holder and the provided information). The second is the review of the app.
The SDKs can be used after the account has been verified (but will only show a limited number of ads until the app has been reviewed). There is no indication this is the case, other than the SDKs won't work.
In my case the account verification took around two months.
This is what I found to be the intended process:
Create app on AdMob and Play Store
If not already, wait for the AdMob account verification
The SDKs will now be functional and the app can be tested, as if it were in production (i.e. ads will show up, consent dialogs will work, the amount of shown ads will limited)
Publish and review the app on the Play Store
Configure the store-link on AdMob
Review the app on AdMob
After the review the SDKs will work on full capacity (i.e. the amount of ads shown will no longer be limited)
I created a game with Admob ads, but when I uploaded it to google play, google refuse it, they sent me this email
Hi Developers at brsolab,
I reviewed Move Up, com.brsolab.MoveUp, and noticed some policy issues
that need to be corrected. If you submitted an update, the previous
version of your app is still live on Google Play.
Policy Issue: Your app was rejected for violating the ads policy. Your
app's advertisements are inappropriate for the intended audience of
your app.
These guidelines apply to all content in your app, including user
generated content, in-app products, and advertisements. Here’s how you
can submit your app for another review:
Check with your ad service provider to make sure the advertising
campaigns you selected will only show content consistent with your
app’s target audience. Sign in to your Developer Console and take the
content rating questionnaire again. Review your app to make sure it’s
in compliance with the policies listed in the Developer Program
Policies. Remember that additional enforcement could occur if there
are further policy issues with your apps. Submit your app. You can
reference this help center article for more details about the ratings
questionnaire.
If you’ve reviewed the ads policy and feel this rejection may have
been in error, please reach out to our policy support team. One of my
colleagues will get back to you within 2 business days.
Thanks for supporting Google Play!
Can you help me to find a solution for that ?
And thanks in advance
I hope this answer helps other SO users.
If your app's Content rating does not allow you to display any adult / gambling or other sensitive content then the same is applicable to the ads that are displayed in your apps.
Using Admob blocking controls, you can control the types of ads that are displayed in your application to the end user
For more read Avoid getting rejected on Google Play due to inappropriate ads in Admob
It sounds like you have declared your app to be for all age groups but have configured your ads to include those with adult content.
If your app does not contain any adult or sensitive content, try to re submit the app. This happened with me several times and my app did not contain any sensitive content. After resubmit, app was approved.
My app is removed from Google Play store and got the reason as:
After review, "My App", has
been suspended and removed from Google Play as a policy strike because
it violates the impersonation policy.
Is there any other way to check whether the app is obeying all Google's policies (like impersonation) before release. So that the app can be saved from suspension. And more than 3 suspension may cause account termination. So please tell me how can I check the app before release?
I think no one had faced such problem??
For me, I totally agree with the author of this post. Really Nice suggestions.
This is not a proper solution for my question. But this is what we can do to sort out this issue from my experience.
I just published another app in the Google Play Store and got rejected. But I didn't published it, it was put for alpha test. This time I got the message that my app is rejected because it violates the impersonation policy, not suspended. And this time there is an option to correct the APK and resubmit the app. Last time when the app was rejected the app got suspended and I need to change the apps package name. This time the fault was in my side and the part of joy was that in the mail from play store it mentioned that one of the image that I call from JSON to show in the app used image of superman. This was the mail:
Read through the Unauthorized Use of Copyrighted Content article for more details and examples. Your app contain images of Superman in its activity.
I am very much glad that play store mentioned the real cause of violation this time. Not a simple recorded message.
When we are publishing the app for alpha testing then we get a chance to correct the error and resubmit the apk again. So everyone please try to upload your apk in alpha testing if the app is accepted there then you can transfer it to beta or directly to publish.
Please respond to this answer if anyone have any better or worst experience.
Thanks
i had the same problem a few days ago. My app was suspended due to violation of impersonation policy. I got the fixed e-mail and I wondered what things got wrong. I got a try, and sent an official signed letter which mentioned that I had the authority and right to use the company's logo - name and assets for which I made the app. Here you can find the form: https://support.google.com/googleplay/android-developer/troubleshooter/2993242?visit_id=1-636145321498752102-1429228295&rd=1 My appeal was accepted and my app was reinsteted. From now on, I'll upload first to alpha testing, although I cannot configure yet, if the rejected uploads at alpha testing are calculated against my developer acount cretibility, or because it's alpha testing it has no effect on me. Anyway, the problem remains the same: Many of us don't know the reason what part of our app violated the policy.
I am new to android and I have managed to read the admob guide lines and then adding the ads in my app and all was working just fine. Its been 3 month that I have uploaded my app and earned a little amount of money. But good so far for starter and beginners.
But today I have received the following message from the Google AdSense Account.
We’d like you to know that we recently detected invalid activity on
the AdSense ads hosted on your website. We’ve temporarily suspended
your account and will re-enable it in 30 days. While your account is
suspended, you’ll still be able to log in to your AdSense account;
however, no ads will be served during this period. We hope this gives
you time to identify the source of the invalid activity and to take
appropriate action.
So I have 3 basic question
I do not understand what they have meant by **invalid activity on
the AdSense ads hosted on your website.** Although I do not have any website. I have just applied these ads in my apps
After 30 days they will active my account again , but I do not have clue What went wrong , so I am afraid after those 30 days, they would block me again and then forever. So How do I come to know that What I have done wrong ?
My 3rd Question is about what are the best guide line would you people provide me to do with apps and ads I wanted to know I have seen many apps which even are not able to understand the standards of android but still they have 5000+ downloads, How they are doing all of this stuff. I do not understand how to promote app and how to earn with ads although I have read all the guideline but they are general I want you guys please give me honest technical advice.
I am looking forward if you participate in this discussion and make these points clear to me also to new Android developers. Thanks
From googles support pages:
Invalid click activity consists of any clicks or impressions that may artificially inflate an advertiser's costs or a publisher's earnings, and for which we decide not to charge the advertiser. This includes, but is not limited to, clicks or impressions generated by a publisher clicking his own ads, a publisher encouraging clicks on his ads, automated clicking tools or traffic sources, robots or other deceptive software.
Basically, they want genuine user interest. Most of the generated revenue from your app may have been from one person (intentional or not) which has lead them to believe that the clicks were fake. Google uses very sophisticated Artificial Intelligence program to track user mouse pointer location on the page and using the mouse pointer behavior it decides whether it’s a legit or fake click. Sometimes the app or website owner will click the links themselves. This 30 day ban is a cooling off period.
Some common causes of bans regarding invalid clicks:
Don't click your own ads (see above)
Don't tell your friends to click on your ads
A page impression can still be counted towards revenue. Don't let friends browse your ad hosting pages on your account (this will be viewed as YOU)
Don't use copyrighted content
Don’t post or host malicious content (hacking etc...)
Don’t use pornographic materials on your site.
Don’t use any other ad service on your website while using AdSense
Don’t put more than 3 ads on any page.
Google recommends that to prevent invalid activity, that your ad implementation adheres to its policies.
Here is a full list of Google AdSense policies .
Google also has additional guidelines on how invalid activity can be prevented.

Finally:
Get involved with your Google Analytics to see where your users are coming from, and if you truly feel that you have been incorrectly banned, you can appeal here - Invalid Activity Appeal.
Forget Admob and use Facebook audience network ads.
its great ads network for mobile ads And you will get 30% more revenue than Adsense.

GOOGLE PLAY REMOVAL: AdMob publishers are not permitted to abuse or promote the abuse of any Google product, such as Google Play, YouTube, or Blogger. This includes circumventing, or providing the means to circumvent, the policies or terms of these or other Google products, such as by allowing users to download YouTube videos.
If your app is removed by Google Play policy enforcement, please contact Google Play about an app removal here. If Google Play reinstates your app, please submit an appeal to our team.
Action required: Check account for compliance
While ad serving has been disabled to the above app, your AdMob account remains active. We suggest that you take the time to review the rest of your applications to ensure that they’re in compliance with our policies, and to monitor your apps accordingly to reduce the likelihood of future policy emails from us. Additionally, please note that our team reserves the right to disable accounts at any time if we continue to see violations occurring.
Thanks in Advance.
You click your own ads several times. on purpose or not, you let other (users using same network) click your ads.
For any reason, never click your own ads, that's the golden rule. if you want to see and click your ads, you should use TEST DEVICE ID.
see this link Testing that admob working before publish
