How to move google play developer account to another google account? - android

I have a Google Play Developers account, linked my friend's Google account. We want to link it to my Google account, instead. There is any way to re-link the Google Developers account we paid for to my email?
I tried to search on the internet, but I didn't find any solution.
I'm not sure if it is possible, but if it is possible - I will happy to get some help.

Here are steps to Move Account
Invite new user in an existing account
Give him as an Admin role.
Go with new account and revoke access from all other users from that account.
Now You can not access app in older account.

Google Play Console Developers Account - Transfer ownership

As the title mentions - How can I change the ownership of a Google Play Console Developer's Account?
Change the ownership means to associate the developer's account with a different Gmail account & let the previous association be let go off (and possibly not pay the $25 USD registration fee again).
Note: There is a similar question asked but I think it's incorrectly marked as a duplicate of a question which doesn't answer the question. (It answers How to transfer apps to another account).
I also beg to differ that the accepted answer also doesn't seem to answer the question.
Hence, asking & answering this as a separate question for the future readers.
You cannot change/transfer the ownership of a Google Play Console Developers Account.
Once a developer account is created, the email address used to register is permanently tied to the account.
From the Official Help:
Account owner email address and country
The account owner email address and country can't be changed. However,
you can create a new account using a different email address or
country and transfer your apps to your new account.
Accounts with published or unpublished apps
To transfer apps to a new account, go to our app transfer checklist.
Accounts without apps
If you haven't published any apps using your existing Play Console
account, you can create a new account and cancel your existing
account.
However, there is a workaround.
You can create a new developer account & make the payment for the same.
Transfer your apps to the new developer account.
Ask google to close the previous account & they will refund the registration fees of the previous account.
References From official Help Docs:
Transfer apps to a different developer account
Step 1: Make sure your Google Play Developer accounts are registered &
active
Before our team can transfer apps from your original account to a
different account, known as your target account, both Google Play
Developer accounts need to be fully registered and active.
Note: You need to pay the $25 USD registration fee for both accounts.
After the transfer is complete, if you want to close your original
account, our team can refund its registration fee.
Protect your developer account
Use a different account for your developer account
If your developer account is linked to your personal Google Account,
consider creating a new account to use for your developer account.
This way, if one account is compromised, the other account can still
be secure.
If you’ve already registered, our support team can transfer your apps
to a new account. To transfer your apps to a different account,
register a new developer account, then prepare and request the
transfer with our support team.
Note: If you close your old account, we will refund your original $25
registration fee.
2021 Method
You can change the ownership of your account to another in few steps and it usually takes a few hours to get everything done. Steps that I followed to transfers my account is as follows.
Unpublish all apps. all apps > setup > advance settings
Open a support ticket in google play support.
Wait for them to reply
Create a new developer account and reply them the details of both new and original accounts (account email and transaction ID/Order ID).
Google play support will reply with the transfer confirmation (with the refund).
You can transfer the ownership of apps, not the ownership of accounts.
Have you considered transferring the ownership of all your apps to the new account instead? It should have the same effect. See Transfer apps to a different developer account

Is it possible to upload apps to google play with team account?

I am not talking about an app for a team, but something like iTunes where a user (say the boss) has a main account and it can choose team member with abilities for publish new apps or updates.
I can not find this option in google play. is it possible?
Yes, you can add multiple Google Accounts. One is the owner and he can give other access. But you have to do this in the Google Developer Console.
Log in into your account. Press Settings. Click the button Invite new user.
Sorry, I use Dutch language, but here is a screenshot:

Not able to access Android Developer console after original creator's account is expired/blocked

An Android Developer account was created using one of employee's Company account at google play store.
That person had added me as admin and also added 2 more developer accounts.
Now, Original creator has left the company, and his account is locked out.
Now I or any of our developers are not able to access the developer console.
Kindly help me in this regard, and let me know how to gain access to developer console as We have to update the new version of App to Play Store
Answering for anyone who is still stuck. Only google support team can help in this issue.
Enable the expired account with help of Administrator(off-course after getting all approvals).
Ask google support to transfer the play store account to corporate email account(Do not repeat the mistake of making employee email account as Play Store account).
Ownership of account should be of company/department. Use this account for all play store activities(publishing etc)

Google+ Sign-on Android app : Will all Android users have a Google+ account?

I am in the middle of working on Android app, and for the user registration bit, I've been reading how they recommend developers to make use of Google+ sign-on integration.
However, I was wondering, will there be any possibility of Android users not having a Google+ account? Will a Google+ account automatically be created for anyone who registered their Android devices with a valid Gmail account?
Thanks!
Google Play requires that users have a Google account to install apps and the new Google+ Sign-In flow works for all Google accounts regardless of them being upgraded to Google+ or not.
yes it is entirely possible for a user to not have a Google+ account. An account does not get automatically created for you. When you first get the device you get prompted to sign-up but that does not mean they will as they can skip that and do it at a later time
A Google+ account is not required for someone to use an Android device. Most people who use them will have one, but there will be some who do not. If you make an app with G+ sign in, add some other way to sign in as well. However, Google is pushing this hard and is even requiring a G+ account to comment on YouTube Videos. See this like for more info: http://readwrite.com/2014/01/10/google-plus-inescapable#awesm=~oya6fZfWHOVNbo
Some users' accounts may not be allowed to have Google+ accounts. For example if the account is a work account, this can be due to the administrator disabling Google+ for their account. In this case the user would receive the message:
"Google+ is unavailable for your account. Please contact your domain
administrator to see if Google+ can be enabled for your account."
Here is some tangential information about how one would go about enabling the Google+ account.

How to link Android Developer merchant account to an existing Google merchant checkout account

I would like to know how can I link an Android Developer merchant account with an existing Google checkout account. During the creation of the Android Developer merchant account, I only see the option to create a new google checkout account - I don't see a way to link to an existing google check out account.
Does anyone know if this is possible? If so, can you tell me how to do it? The google developer documentation doesn't explicitly say it's not possible.
In order to Link your Adsense account to your Developer account you MUST create first a Google Checkout Account.
After creating one, you will see on your developer console a new request to link between your account to your adsense (by entering your pub-xxxxxxxxxxx id).
