I m new in android ,i had search many example which is related from navigation drawer and I also apply to our project but the last things that
In my project Humberger icon and navigation view(slide) are not work properly and humberger icon doesn't show .
I apply onCreatePost()
And many method apply such as configuration and other but there is not a solution.so how can I fix this problem.. in my system install Androidx
I had the same issue and I fixed it by adding the navigation graph into the Hosted Fragment, I'll post the layout code from the main view.

mAppBarConfiguration = new AppBarConfiguration.Builder(

R.id.nav_tools, R.id.nav_share, R.id.nav_send)
.setDrawerLayout(drawer)
.build();
navController = Navigation.findNavController(this, R.id.nav_host_fragment);
NavigationUI.setupActionBarWithNavController(this, navController, mAppBarConfiguration);
NavigationUI.setupWithNavController(navigationView, navController)
Easiest Way
The easiest way is to generate the code through the Android Studio since you are new.
RightClick on the Package folder -> New -> Activity -> Gallery
from that select Navigation Drawer Activity

I have an app with a navigation drawer and several fragments. The app has a collapsing toolbar, and the fragments have various content. Some of them are static from XML, others are generated in a recyclerview. Some have a FAB, others don't.
My problem is whatever layout I have below the toolbar, the container height is calculated from the collapsed state. When I expand the toolbar, I expect the below container to shrink in height, but instead it's just pushed down, and it becomes a problem, when I want to place a FAB into the bottom right corner. This way the FAB is being pushed out of the screen when I expand the toolbar.

So my question is what I should do to force the <fragment> element to fill the remaining place below the appbar and grow or shrink in height instead of partially sliding out of the screen.
This question already has answers here:
FragmentContainerView using findNavController

Closed 2 years ago.
I try to write an Android app which uses the Navigation Component from androidx, a toolbar and a drawer layout to slide in a setting menu from the left. I followed the guides Get started with the Navigation component and tried to add a top app bar and a setting using this guide Update UI components with NavigationUI.
When my apps starts, the following exception is thrown:
java.lang.IllegalStateException: Activity ....MainActivity#e686cd8 does not have a NavController set on 2131230993
Side remark: If I open nav_graph.xml in design mode, the hosts pane reports "No NavHostFragments found. This nav graph must be referenced from a NavHostFragment in a layout in order to be accessible." Maybe this error and the exception are related and share the same root cause. However, my navigation graph is referenced by a NavHostFragment though, see below.
activity_main.xml:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<androidx.drawerlayout.widget.DrawerLayout xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"

AppBarConfiguration appBarConfiguration =
new AppBarConfiguration.Builder(navController.getGraph()).build();
Toolbar toolbar = findViewById( R.id.main_toolbar );
NavigationUI.setupWithNavController( toolbar, navController, appBarConfiguration );
}
Further Remarks:
I already found some tips which says that androidx.fragment.app.FragmentContainerView should be replaced by fragment. However, this feels wrong as the linter recommends to use FragmentContainerView instead of fragment and the official Android docs use FragmentContainerView, too.
Okay to get Nav Controller in your activity either replace your
<androidx.fragment.app.FragmentContainerView
android:id="#+id/nav_host_fragment"
android:name="androidx.navigation.fragment.NavHostFragment"
android:layout_width="match_parent"
android:layout_height="match_parent"
app:defaultNavHost="true"
app:navGraph="#navigation/nav_graph" />
with
<fragment
android:id="#+id/nav_host_fragment"
android:name="androidx.navigation.fragment.NavHostFragment"
android:layout_width="match_parent"
android:layout_height="match_parent"
app:defaultNavHost="true"
app:navGraph="#navigation/nav_graph" />
But as the lint suggest to change fragment with FragmentContainerView Use the below code to get Nav Controller in your activity.
NavHostFragment navHostFragment = (NavHostFragment) getSupportFragmentManager().findFragmentById(R.id.nav_host_fragment);
if (navHostFragment != null) {
NavController navController = navHostFragment.getNavController();
// Setup NavigationUI here
}
I am making an Android app. I have used the side navigation drawer in it, I have not seen the color icons in the drawer, but i used color icons
My XML code is:

android:layout_gravity="start"
app:headerLayout="#layout/nav_header"
app:iconTint="#null"
app:menu="#menu/drawer_menu" />
</androidx.drawerlayout.widget.DrawerLayout>
Use:
navigationView.setItemIconTintList(null)
or in your layout use app:itemIconTint instead of app:iconTint
<com.google.android.material.navigation.NavigationView
app:itemIconTint="#null"
error in
app:iconTint="#null"
Use the color name/code you want to use
use it
app:itemIconTint="#null"
if you are using SVG
DrawableCompat.setTint(
DrawableCompat.wrap(myImageView.getDrawable()),
ContextCompat.getColor(context, R.color.another_nice_color)
);
Change the color of drawable asset programmatically
I am building single activity app with a lot of fragments and I am using Jetpack navigation component. I have app:layout_scrollFlags="scroll|enterAlways" in Toolbar so that when the user scrolls content Toolbar will be scroll-able to give much space and it works just fine.
But in one fragment I have SearchView in Action Bar menu so when the user navigate to this search Fragment from fragment which had scroll-able content the SearchView and other menu items will be automatically hidden.
How to make ActionBar/Toolbar visible when each fragment is created/Shown.
My Activity Layout

android:layout_marginStart="0dp"
android:layout_marginEnd="0dp"
android:background="#android:color/white"
app:menu="#menu/main_bottom" />
</RelativeLayout>
Example of my Fragment layout
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<LinearLayout xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"
xmlns:tools="http://schemas.android.com/tools"
android:id="#+id/container"

<androidx.recyclerview.widget.RecyclerView
android:id="#+id/recyclerView"
android:layout_width="match_parent"
android:layout_height="match_parent" />
</LinearLayout>
It was simple. I solved it by adding listener on NavController
navController.addOnDestinationChangedListener { _, _, _ ->
appBarLayout.setExpanded(true, true)
}
I implemented the Navigation Drawer by using the template provided by Google in New Android Studio 1.4. Here it automatically created everything including the layout and class.
This is my activity_main.xml

You could see fragment_container above. I simply replace this with different fragment based on item click in the Navigation drawer.
There's no issue in this too.
UpdatesFragment fragment = new UpdatesFragment();
android.support.v4.app.FragmentTransaction fragmentTransaction = getSupportFragmentManager().beginTransaction();
fragmentTransaction.replace(R.id.frame_container,fragment);
fragmentTransaction.addToBackStack(null);
fragmentTransaction.commit();
Now, I would to have a different toolbar for each fragment. How could i get the different toolbar for each fragment in this new CoordinatorLayout?
Or, I mean I would like to have a different Scroll Behavior for each fragment. How can i achieve this
