I have updated my Android Studio, I am facing issue with flutter while creating new flutter project. I have set Environment Variable path as well as checked in cmd everything seems fine, but still it is giving error about Flutter SDK not found. Can any one suggest better solution for this issue ?
First, run flutter doctor, it should tell something, and if it doesn't, issue will probably be with gradle, updating gradle causes a lot of problem, i suggest you delete your gradle located at C:\Users***.gradle, or even the sdk and open android folder of a flutter app in android studio, and let the correct settings install, sync and setup..

I was just coding in my Xamarin.Forms project, and suddenly, this error appeared:
Project is not compatible with monoandroid81(MonoAndroid,Version=v8.1). Project TaskX.iOS supports: xamarinios10 (Xamarin.iOS,Version=v1.0)
I don´t really know what this means. Does anyone have a solution?
After a few days of messing around, it worked when I installed the latest version -
I had 8.1 installed but as soon as I installed "Android SDK Platform 28" (Latest) + updated all sdk's everything worked
maybe updating the sdk's was the solution but just make sure you specify a installed (updated) android version correctly
This is yet another failing of the Visual Studio error list. I am getting this error on my Android projects and a very similar one on my IOS project. Neither project uses NHibernate. I can unload my NHibernate project and both my Android and IOS project still build. Yet the error remains. I can change the error list filter to Build so I can ignore this IntelliSense error. It's not much of a solution but neither is Visual Studio's error list.
I fixed this issue removing an android reference on my iOS project.
Expand reference on your iOS project and look for and .Droid and remove it
I recently installed Android Studio on my Desktop running Ubuntu 17.10. However, when I open any Android Studio Project or even create a new Project, while editing XML files, it wrongly displays an "unknown attribute" error. Normally, I wouldn't care, but this causes Android Studio to not give any suggestions for attributes which I need.
What I've tried:
Invalidating cache
Deleting the .iml file and rebuilding project
Rebuilding and cleaning project several times
Deleting gradle's cache
Updating Android Studio (Current Release is Android Studio 3.1)
Here is a screenshot of what's happening
Try doing a gradle sync. It should resolve the problem
I´ve tryed all the solutions but the only thing that worked for me was 4gus71n's answer.
Deleting the C:\Users.AndroidStudio3.2\system\caches folder solved my problem.

Use project's SDK not Android's SDK. You can edit SDK Location in local.properties file
I had faced similar issues and all the above also did not worked for me.
If all else failed, do a clean install of android studio. You need to do a clean installation because if you just uninstall and install again, some of the files still remains in your system. It did not work for me when i just uninstall and install android studio. The clean install worked for me and I believe it should solve most of the problems.
I faced this error probably because i installed an entire android project but I am not very sure what is the exact error that caused this problem.
For clean installation, you can look at this links for windows and mac
How to completely uninstall Android Studio from windows(v10)?
How to completely uninstall Android Studio on Mac?

I am using android 2.3.3 I have changed many setups but some constant problems are apearing
Gradle project sync failed.
Rendor errors
install repository and sync project.
I do a lot search and found some ways I replace gradle folder with new version of gradle but failed to solve this.As i installed repository but error is still there.
Why all setups of android are showing same problem?
Remove all previous installation.
Install java JDK 8.
Install jre.
Download latest Android studio (https://developer.android.com/studio/archive.html)
Follow these steps. (https://developer.android.com/studio/install.html)
Can you specify your system configurations?
After reinstalling my Android Studio I have big issues because all my projects have problem with Gradle file.
There are .jpeg-s attached
Gradle File
Messages Gradle Sync
[Some conflicts in installation area][3]
I would suggest fresh new install of everything and keep in mind where exactly will you install it (my suggestion would be to keep it simple like C:\Android\ for studio and C:\Android\SDK for SDK
Also you can click on Edit next to the SDK location and see what if your SDK report any issues or you can select another SDK location and update missing tools from there.
Or if you would like to tackle current issue on another way, use search and find SDK folder and move it your android folder (don't forget to avoid black space in file path), and again through SDK location don't forget to put new path to the Studio.
After you set up your environment ans run your build gradle again there shouldn't be any more issues like this, or at least when you install missing platforms and tools it will fix thing as it should.
Also have the same dependency version for libraries when you finish setting up environment.
Finally done. I resolved uninstalling Android Studio. The real problem was SDK. When you uninstalling AS SDK is still on computer, and I deleted all these files from SDK folder. The best option if you install AS and SDK directly on C:. After that AS working without any problems. Thanks #Miroslav for all your help and patience.
I can't seem to find the project files in to the newer version of Android Studio. In the screenshot below you can see that it doesn't display the entire project tree.

The solution offered in this post doesn't fix my problem.

this work on my android studio 0.3.5 on linux
It happened to me too, in this link it says something about upgrading:
Windows users: Do not install Android Studio 0.2.x in the same location as 0.1.x. Doing so may cause errors such as ClassCastException or other unexpected behaviors. It's best if you remove your previous version of Android Studio 0.1.x.
I fixed it uninstalling my currend Android Studio installation, removing the folder where it was installed with the remaining files, and installing it again. It works correctly now apparently.
I have had the same problem on Android Studio 1.2.2. I have closed and reopen project.
