Why my toolbar not setting menu on fragment?

I am building android shopping app that have the cart menu item and all products are opening in fragment and i want to set the MainActivity menu items on the product fragment and other fragments.
So the user is easy to open the cart from the product view fragment.below code

I assume you use a single activity approach.
Then your activity should include Toolbar in its layout something like this.

How triggered onOptionsItemSelected(fragment) in activity button click

How triggered onOptionsItemSelected (menuItemTransmitMeterReading) from Fragment in Activity click button(btnTransmit). I need the button to do the same as the menuItem. Put all extraStings and start new activity. I'm new in android and fragments are very hard for me.

Display ProgressBar in middle of Screen in android

Here is my layout for Activity. And I want to display android.widget.ProgressBar in the middle of the screen dynamically.

But it doesn't show progressBar in middle of the screen. It displays below of middle of screen like image attached below.

You can try with android:layout_gravity
Standard gravity constant that a child supplies to its parent.
You can align a view in center of the Framelayout by setting the layout_gravity of the child view .
android:layout_gravity="center"
Place the object in the center of its container in both the vertical and horizontal axis, not changing its size .

This is because you adding progressbar in center of framelayout, try this

Try it using Relativelayout, use Relativelayout as container of progressbar and use centerinparent attribute to center the progressbar in the middle of screen :

Google's BottomSheet appears at top of screen

I'm using android's new BottomSheet inside Design Library.
Problem is that I'm using it inside a Fragment and It cause that it appear at top of screen instead of appearing at bottom.

If you are using animateLayoutChanges inside your layout, removing it can fix your problem.

Making a fragment translucent in android

I have a fragment A that covers up the whole screen and another fragment B that is at the bottom of the screen of 50dp.Fragment B overlaps some bottom portion of fragment A.I want to make fragment B translucent so the overlapped portion of fragment A is seen.
I tried using Theme.Translucent,used framelayouts,used setAlpha() method,but didn't get the desired result.Just like we have a translucent actionbar in android,similarly I want to make my fragment B translucent.

the offset of 50dp is given in the SlidingPanelLayout itself..so only 50 dp of fragment B is visible.
In all these links Theme.Translucent is added to activity theme..but I want to create a theme that makes only that fragment translucent.
Any suggestions or help guys..deeply appreciated.Thanks.

You can add fragment in frame layout it will overlap..

Suggestion you can create multiple fragment in same screen. And that is proper way AFAIK
