I need to embed scikit-learn models in an iOS and Androis apps, in particular svm and random forest.
I have deployed keras models using a converted version with tflite but could not find a way to use sklearn ones.
Is there a way to achieve this?
Depending on the platform, there are wrapper libraries that allow for the use of Scikit-learn on mobile.
For iOS, you should be able to do this with CoreML/CoreMLTools by looking at coremltools.converters.sklearn.convert. It does provide 'random forest', not svm currently, but based on the libraries code (i.e. coremltool + scikitlearn), you should be able to expand it to work with svm as well.
For Android, you might be able to find information on this question.

I hope you are doing well.
I have a project to do at school, it's about developing an API to link three applications from different platforms to a single database. It will be a desktop, mobile and web application. But problem, I've never developed an API and I don't know where to start. I would like you to tell me how to do it (which language to use, which software I need and if you can advise me on specific courses), or at least give me indications on how to search. I heard that we could develop some with Python which is a language that I use often, so if there are indications that can go in this direction as well. Thank you so much.
Based on knowledge about python i recommend to use Flask framework to create your api and you can find a lot of youtube videos can help you
i hope that i was helpful for you good luck

I am trying to make a game on Android Studio using Libgdx and want to be able to access external web apis. I am wondering whether this is still possible while running Libgdx.
Of course you can still use other API's. Libgdx only isolates UI layer from your native android environment with it's glSurfaceView. If you implement proper interfaces for accesing other API's like Admob, Parse, Google Play Services or whatever you want, you can use it all.
I suggest you to read this document which can help and enlight you :

I have been trying to use tesseract OCR for android, but I need to train for a specific font. I was thinking of doing that on Windows version first and then use the same parameters in Android. Can somebody please let me know if the training procedure for Windows version and android version are same or do we have to follow different procedures. So far I have not been able to distinguish between the two.
Thanks for your answers.
AFAIK, the .traineddata files are platform independent. You can train and generate it on Windows and use it on others.

I've recently started using groovy as an alternative to Java and I would like to develop Android apps in groovy. All the examples I have investigated seem to be quite old.
So I was wondering if it is possible to develop Android apps in groovy?
It's a great idea, and it's been tried with partial success - there was a project called DiscoBot that had things partially working - see http://skillsmatter.com/podcast/groovy-grails/groovy-android
However, it's a difficult proposition though, both because of the size of the Groovy runtime, and because much of what Groovy does to implement a dynamic language is not fully supported by the Dalvik VM.
That said, it is being worked on.
I'm guessing that the reason that you got some 'close' votes here is because you could have found all of this information for yourself with a quick search in your favorite web search engine.

Is it possible to use SpatiaLite database on Android platform (1.6)? I am trying to program a google buzz-like app which need to take advantage of SpatiaLite functions, like calculating distance between 2 points, etc. Any external library needed? Thanks.
Spatialite for Android: https://github.com/sevar83/android-spatialite
(disclaimer: I'm the repo's owner)
Another implementation
http://code.google.com/p/spatialite-android/
Tutorial on it:
https://www.gaia-gis.it/fossil/libspatialite/wiki?name=spatialite-android-tutorial
But I doubt it supports such an outdated version (1.6).
my guess would be that someone would have to compile spatialite to work on the android linux version. And then you would have to get it on the phone. I voted up the question because I would love to see it happen.
