Is there any way how to make Glance Text overflow ellipsis? (Three dots, if text is too long).
In Jetpack compose, there is overflow parameter, but in Glance not...

Is it possible to put divider lines between groups of menu items in an overflow menu in Android?
Dividers are a standard feature of menus, and have been for at least 30 years. So it seems a bit weird if this isn't possible in a non-trivial way.
For example, the Chrome menu on OSx looks like this:
I'm talking about the lines between some of the menu items. Is there a way to get something similar in the overflow and/or context menus in Android without resorting to custom views and whatnots?
I am looking for a solution to align menu icon in the action bar without creating a custom layout.
This question was asked many times, and no one seems able to answer.
Here the last question I found on stack overflow (asked in June 2015):
"How to center&left&right align the ActionBar icons in Android " How to center&left&right align the ActionBar icons in Android
The toolbar is available only for sdk v23 with a very limited features for the previous release.
A custom layout, does not help as you need to manage different screens size and so a number of icons showing on your actionBar.
So any help will be appreciated.

Hello is there a generator online for the actionBarOverflowIcon?
http://romannurik.github.io/AndroidAssetStudio/
Is a great generator for other items, but it's missing the actionbaroverflowicon generator.
Would like to do this other than having my designer create a set for my visual design.
You can clearly see it in there just go to clip art and select the overflow button which is located top left of the list. click here to see the styled overflow button.
I would like to make my Android applications VERY accessible.
I have been investigating how to set contentDescription for the ActionBar Overflow icon (e.g. the three dots at left hand end of actionbar).
Is it possible to set contentDescription for this actionbar icon?
The content description for the overflow icon is set by the framework, which makes it consistent across all apps. Changing the description from the default would break user expectations and cause confusion. There is no need for you to change the description.
I have 2 different backgrounds to the Action bar. One light and another dark. One for the default title and another for the CAB (when some of the elements are selected/activated).
I would like to have 2 different overflow when in those different states.
I tried the selector but couldn't find the state to represent when in CAB mode.
Any idea how to provide different overflow buttons?
On a more general note, where can I start exploring the Action Bar so I could find the answers myself instead of finding bits and pieces all over the inet? I would expect Google/Android to provide a starting point. I guess I just didn't find it.
