I lost the key I signed my Android application with - android

I lost the .keys.ks file, that I used to sign my Android (on the Market) app. Is there anything I could do? I really hope I won't have to republish the app with a different package name on the Market, because current users won't see my updates. If I recreate it in Eclipse with the same password can I create the same key?

No, there is nothing you can do. You have to sign with a new key. And no, current users will not see your updates, and if it is a paid application, they also will have to pay again to install the application.
Always backup your key. I have it in my gmail, and also on my skydrive, just in case.

If you are using Adroid Studio then do this.
1st try to create new keystore.
then open taskArtifacts.bin with notepad which located in ....gradle\2.14.1\taskArtifacts\taskArtifacts.bin and look for password that you just given or id.
Copy near by words and paste in search box...and search.
It will show whatever password you given to app.Even you will get id.

Switching signing keys for my android App

I need to recompile my Android Store App (fully working and deployed) again to ask for a higher targetSdk as per the mail from google asked me to. If I don't do this, then it will not be shown in the store anymore.
The problem was it was a long time since I've done this and I had lost the password and name that you need to entered for creating the release bundle. This was also my first time creating an .aab file, because all previous times I created an apk.
But the app-release.aab was created. When I try to upload it, I get this message:
Your Android App Bundle is signed with the wrong key. Ensure that your App Bundle is signed with the correct signing key and try again:
SHA1: SHA-CHECKSUM-HERE
However I don't have the key. I have now saved the .jks and the .pepk file for future reference. But how do I tell the play console that I'm now signing with another key.
I have contacted google support as suggested by the play console. The weird thing is that It told me I would be contacted in two business days. But not only this has not happened, but I didn't get an email telling me that I had submitted a request or anything like that. This is my first time doing this, so is this normal?
Please advice, if this is not the right place, where I should ask this question.
How should I proceed?
I think if the support doesn't help you to solve this, the only solution is to rename your package and create a new key. So you will have theoretically a new app with another package. Not sure if the name of the app must be different too.

Can i know email id's of user who have installed my app from playstore

I have uploaded app on playstore. Now i want to know email id of user who have downloaded my app. Can it be possible to know email ids of user?
It is not possible to know who has downloaded your app. And it is also not possible to recover a keystore. Do your best to find that keystore.
The only way you can try to get in touch with the users of your app is by looking at the ratings in the dev console (you can see who reviewed your app) and by putting a new link into the description of the old app. Also there are some ways to avoid the keystore thing. I've read various solutions already here at SO.

Key Store Password Lost

I lost my password of Keystore file. I have already published my application and have few users who use that app. Now I am unable to publish its newer version. I will publish that app using different keystore file but before that I want to notify all that users to update their application to new one. How can I do that?
There's no way to recover your key.
If you deleted from your computer then recover your computer files.
and if you lost your file in another platform(any where) ! try to recover because Once again, there is no way to recover this.
The only option I see here is to unpublish your app , change your package name and republish it . But take into consideration you will loose your current users.
and try to email all your existing users for your new publish.

Is possible to compare key that use installed app with key of new version this app

I've reinstalled windows and accidentally removed the key-store file that I've used for my project. I try to make a new one, but something is not inserted like the last time(alias maybe.) Now I have a problem: When I start to update the.apk file I get the following message:
An existing package by the same name with a conflicting signature is already installed.
My application automatically checks for project updates (new version) on a private server. The problem is that some people already have an app on their phone.
My idea was to compare keys and if it's different to ask the user to remove old apps in some dialog or something like that.
Is something like this possible, if not what are my others options ?
Thanks.
You need to release a new app with a new packagename.
If you no longer have the keystore used to sign your first app, you can never update it again in Play Store.
If you distributed your app manually and have not released it via Play Store, your users can uninstall the app signed with the lost key and install the new one.
There is no way to show a dialog as you cannot update the app. You can only replace it as described above.

Can I somehow get details from android key alias? like validity, organisation and so on

Can I somehow get details from android key alias? like validity, organisation and so on...
I lost my key and keystore files, but I remember all passwords, is there any way how can I get this information from existing apk file?
All I need to do is just export new version of my application and I want it to replace previous after installation.
THX
Sorry, there is no way to replace a lost keystore. Once it is lost you cannot get it back, do your best to find it, but failing this the best you can do is publish a new app(with a new keystore), and tell your users to install the new app for updates.
Make sure you backup your new key store, send it to yourself via email, put it in a cloud, and put it on a different computer so that doesn't happen again.
Even if you knew the details that you put in your old keystore you could not recreate it - keystores are designed to be impossible to recreate.
