One of the design sessions from Google I/O this year showcased this app as an example of putting their design principles to good use. They said it would be open sourced but I'm having trouble finding it.
It has not been released yet, as far as we are aware.

I had developed an application 4 months back and it has been downloaded by nearly 13000 users already. But Google has decommissioned my app a couple of weeks ago stating that we had performed SEO on the product description, which we haven't. I have been trying to reach Google regarding the same issue but in vain.

I've recently completed an app for iOS. They flat out say you get 70% of the app sales. I'm thinking about developing for android as well. But I can't find anything on Android's sales. (Sorry it isn't exactly a programming question.)
You get 70% on Android also.

I have created the Android version of an ios app and am looking for beta-testers. For ios there are at least 2 quite well-managed sites, but for Android I only found a forum where I can post my apk: http://androidforums.com/alpha-beta-testing/
Is there any other site?
Yes, have you tried http://zubhi.co , we always use it for android betas.

Would like to see how they've implemented their widget (at least - widget layout).
No, and there's not even an official API (but there are some unofficial APIs).
