I would like to change the profile of the phone, for instance change from vibrator mode to normal mode or even plane mode. I cannot find in the permission list anything to allow this type of change. Is this possible ?
It is done using AudioManager. Refer the developers guide and it will help you a certain extent.
Not sure, but did you look at android.permission.VIBRATE ?

See the tutorial in the Android docs on Adding an Easy Share Action. It tells you exactly what you are asking.
That tutorial uses a ShareActionProvider, which is only since API 14. To support earlier versions of Android, take a look at the accepted answer in this thread. This third-party tutorial also provides lots of good info.

This is not possible. Your app will not run at all until the user runs it from the home screen's launcher. At that point, you are welcome to prompt the user to supply you with information.

How do I automatically categorise an android application ? I need to write a code to do it.
There exists an api & android application CatApplus http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1419810.
But it is not freely available.
Can anyone suggest any alternative or any other way to solve this problem ?
You can use this api to get apps category then you categorize them the way you like.

I wish create a graph of battery usage in my application..How can i do it? I only want a simple graph not a complicated thing. I've seen about this site http://www.achartengine.org/ but i don't understand how use it.
The last time I needed to draw a graph, I used the GraphView library:
