I'm looking to study source code from Strategy or RPG games in java. I was hoping to find more than one source on each genre as to study different approaches.
Does anyone know where I would be able to find any? I got an account on Safari Books Online, in hope that one of the books on android would cover the genre I was looking for, but they do not have any like that.
I would check out Andor's Trail on the Android Market. It's an RPG that is free to download and the source code is available here: http://code.google.com/p/andors-trail/
Good luck!

Here is the best blog you are looking for http://coderbridge.com, also you can look for developer.android.com which is fair enough to learn android.
This is really the place to start.

Click on "building your first app" and go from there.
Make sure to read all of the text.

By in-app tutorial I mean this
Do those in-app tutorials have special technical term to use, so it's possible to filter all those unrelated results?
How to implement them? Tried looking it up in Google, but obviously got keyword collision leading to unrelated results.
You can get some useful results with the search terms "android app onboarding".
Btw. extensive in-app tutorials are probably not a good idea, especially when they are mandatory.

Can anyone suggest me of any step by step tutorials on how to make and Android LiveWallpaper. I am not able to find any good tutorials and I am sort of new to this.
Take a look at this article from Vogella:
http://www.vogella.de/articles/AndroidLiveWallpaper/article.html
Start at: 2. Android Wallpaper Example
Read the complete tutorial slowly and carefully (helps a lot).

I have been looking around for a good Android AR toolkit to play with. I have found a few references but I am not really sure which ones to try. It seems to be a lot of work just to get any demo's working.
My requirement is that I want to be able to detect AR Markers/Tags. I would then look to add a 3D model based on the orientation of the marker/tag. A nice basic cube would be a great start :D
So do any of you have any recommendations?
I have just tried http://code.google.com/p/andar/ and it is not too bad. I would really like one that has some better project examples and well documented source code.
Oh, and as this is currently only for playing with I don't want to be paying any money for it.
You can try looking at NyARToolkit
