Soap character encoding in Android - android

I can call webservices via the code that I am sharing below and it's ok but while I am sending a value to parameter with turkish characters there is coming up an encoding problem. When I change the encode charset utf-8 to iso-8859-9, some turkish chars get correct displayed (ç, ö, ü) but 3 letters (ı, ğ, ş) does not change. why does this happen?

Did you set you android httpclient Content-Type header to application/json; charset=utf-8 instead of "application/json"?
I think your problem is that the content entity location you sent is encoded correctly in UTF-8 but server failed to acknowledge UTF-8. clarify it in Content-Type header.
You can diagnose http content and its header with great http monitoring tool Fiddler.

Relace your UrlEncodedFormEntity as below. Set header to application/json; charset=utf-8 as I described earlier. it's good to set it up still.

POST json to URL from Android

I am trying to POST json to a URL from an android app. I went through every relevant answer I found here, but whatever I do, I am getting status code 406. I learned that means server isn't accepting the format of what I am sending, but I can't find what is wrong with what I am doing.
Here is the relevant code:

I checked the JSON formed by my formJSON() method through JSONLint and it was valid. BTW, the json I am expected to send is { String, String, String, String and String[] }
EDIT:
I found the answer myself. It seems during testing, I was sending some strings empty, so the POST was 406, "not in acceptable format". Once I tried filling everything manually, I got 200 back.

Android:Trying to make an httpPost Request but keep getting connection timeout

I am really in pain right now please help me solve this issue.

your problem might be related to the login. Is your script expecting a preemptive authetification? Do you have a error page for a failed login?
For requesting a page with preemptive http basic authentication i'm using the following code that is working. Have a try, if its working for you too.

As you can see, i get a "not logged in" page as result, if the login fails to determine the login process. Further more i set some parameters, that might be also interesting for you. You can look here for more information on parameters.

Android: Http post with parameters not working

I need to create an HTTP POST request with parameters. I know there are many examples out there, I have tried using HTTPparams, NameValuePair etc but cant seem to get the correct format for the server.
Server Type: REST based API utilizing JSON for data transfer
Content-type: application/json
Accept: application/json
Content-length: 47
{"username":"abcd","password":"1234"}
I can pass these headers but I cant seem to pass these params "username","password". Here is my code:

I'm not quite sure, from your description, but it would seem that your server expects a JSON content object instead of the data being encoded in the URL. Send something like this as the body of your post:

Android Java UTF-8 JSON

One part of my app performs a query (via php) on a mysql database. I use in the database UTF-8 because I have letters like é à ê that need to appear.
I read through this problem because this seemed almost the same.

After trying your code on another page, I think your problem come from your server web interface.
You can for example try a GET request on a google page containing "é" characters:
