I'm looking for a library that does something similar to what the input field in Google's search input does. I know it's a long shot, but thought perhaps it's part of the SDK and I'm overlooking it, or someone has written a handy lib.
The only difference between the google text hinting and what I want, is that I want to be able to add my own strings to the hints... the practical application here is that I have a huge list of company names and I want to help the users type them in (cause many of them are fairly long)...
I have a pretty good idea of how to write this myself if I absolutely have to, but was hoping that someone's already done the heavy lifting.
Yup, it exists.

I'm a UX designer, who is trying to make a note-taking app that can make voice notes, text notes and just notes in general. My only challenge with the no-code platforms is finding a component and not knowing what the 'action' is called to 'create a new something' Like create a new card with text. Create new voice notes etc.
If there are free Api's for this that would be great.
Alternatively, a youtube tutorial would be good, please and thank you.
With less expenditure there are plenty of coded apps on github. But if you want to learn how to code a simply note app, I suggest to watch this video for creating a "Note-App" and also this video for making a "Memo-App". After that you can implement function like voice messages, but start simple with Strings.

I need a tool where the user can draw an flowchart easily, and export this to a HTML and CSS file.
My intention to save this HTML code in a database, and get this from my android app, and show this in a Webview.
Do you know some flowchart tool for to do that?
Thank you!
Have a look into Lucid Chart API, I know there is an embed code option, which could help you, but there's always a save the charts to an image file.
There might be a specific tool out there to do that function, but I am guessing it would be difficult to find or require an upfront cost to use. I would anticipate that you most likely will have to strap something together yourself.

I am trying to make an app that will allow users to manage their activities and so. And for this, I need to store all the data on some server. What should I use ? Can you recommend me some kind of good webhosting with huge or possibky unlimited database space ? Thank you very much for your suggestions
You may use www.parse.com orwww.baasbox.com for backing up your data. Happy coding
Its not really possible to provide better than the typical "it depends" answer - there are a whole bunch of trade-offs to consider when selecting which data store to use (let alone how you choose to host it)
However, given you've explicitly tagged sql-server I'd suggest taking a look at Microsoft's Azure platform (and perhaps specifically their hosted SQL Database) as it should satisfy all the points in your question.

Are there any ready-made mobile HTML5/CSS3 templates available on the net (for webapps). I don't want to have a native look nor want a native look with webapps. But I want kewl eye-catching designs with a lot of colors. As I'm a developer I'm a super noob at designing. Let me know if you guys use any resources.
P.S.To be specific I needed it for holding two countdowns (placeholders) & 2 images.
I usually look at DeviantArt for UI ideas,
http://browse.deviantart.com/?qh=§ion=&q=iphone+app+template
From there you could find one you like and code it.
Also look at this link for a backbone template,
http://html5boilerplate.com/mobile
A simple google search would have led you here...

One of my applications is getting more and more popular, and I'd like to support multiple languages, but there are a few problems:
I don't know every single language out there
I'm actively developing the application, so strings change and new ones are added - often
That's why I've been looking at the possibilities of an online community translation tool. I'd like for it to be free and open source, and it'd be great if it supports Android!
Sorry if this is off-topic, I was a bit unsure, but I think it's a problem that many Android developers have to deal with.
For WordPress for Android we use GlotPress, you can upload your strings.xml and it will create sub projects for whatever language you want. You can then invite users to translate the project to their native language.
