I have a problem that I have to make an Android App which take a screenshot of Android device same as iPhone does. So, Is it possible to make such kind of Android App? If yes, then provide me some suggestions or example for doing the same.
Thanks in advance.
AFAIK, it's not possible unless the device is rooted.
EDIT
It's already available in ICS : Take screenshots in ICS (Android 4.0)

I want to develop an application which live-screencast from android tablet to smartboard or another android tablet.
Connection type between two devices should be wireless internet connection without using usb and bluetooth. I use android studio.
Is it possible to implement it? Could you suggest me some ways or libraries to do it?
I hope I make myself clear.
Any help is apreciated.
Thanks in advance.
EDIT
Our devices support v4.
In addition to the information above, I need an rdp library or api to do it.
Android v5.0 lollipop is the first to provide some API for this. See the following links:

Thank you.
The latest version of Chromecast App allows screen mirroring - at least for certain devices like Nexus 5, 7, 10 ... So I don't think it would make much sense for you to pursue that.
I want to know how to start screenshot service in android 4.0 using code. I know I can take screenshots using the power button. But I want to know how to do this using code.
This is not possible, except maybe by rooted device users. Apps cannot take screenshots of other apps, for obvious privacy and security reasons.
how do i come to know which device is compatible to be overhauled with Android OS.
I wanted to know what is the basic hardware requirement.
thanks
Here you've got the requirements: http://source.android.com/compatibility/
You also can download the current CCD there to have a look into the requirements.
I'm interested in playing around with the Android OS, but I do not need or want a phone.
It doesn't look like there are any 'non-phone' Android devices out there, so maybe there's a device that is compatible that I can flash.
Any ideas?
they sell them at Kmart. http://tech.fortune.cnn.com/2010/08/06/attention-kmart-shoppers-149-android-tablet-on-aisle-5/?section=magazines_fortune
There are some pads, e.g. those made by Archos, which run Android but cost significantly less than a phone.
If you just want to play with the os, you could try the Android emulator which ships as part of the Android SDK (free).
A quick Google search for Android tablet reveals the existence of several such devices.
