Can I use AdMob in android apps published on Amazon Appstore? - android

Can I use AdMob ads in my apps on Amazon Appstore? If not, what ad networks can I use?

I have 24 apps on amazon all with admob without any filter. Amazon's policy against links to other market places not apply to ads. They only apply if you directly place a link in your app. Like, button "more games" that lead to your games on google play.

AdMob is an ad network which supports (in this context) Android applications. the Amazon Appstore is merely another platform for developers to release their applications on.
So to answer you question briefly, YES, you can use the AdMob Api, integrate into your Android app and release it on the Amazon Appstore, or Appstore for that matter (naturally, the ones that support Android apps. ;-) )

My google account got suspended so I uploaded the same apk to Amazon, now my app only show kindle ads.
I think they're influencing which ads shows up through their market, even if I am using admob. Not 100% sure right now. I've tried to at least 100 times restarting my app and even force closing my app a bunch of times but it only shows Amazon Kindle ads.

Yes, if your app also success published to google play store/apple app store.
No, if above not fullfill. Go for Amazon Mobile Ads, it is better.

Do Admob work if I upload app on other stores like amazon, 9apps and Getjar instead of Google play store?

I have uploaded app on the Google play store and then I linked my app with AdMob. But due to some copy right reasons, Google removed my app from the Google play store.
Now I have uploaded the same app on the Getjar(App store). But my AdMob stop working. How could I use Admob on the Getjar or any other store to earn revenue?
I have also checked Leadbolt ad platform but I was not able to found banner ads in it. Please help on this as well.
I would be thankful if someone suggests me any other best alternative of the Admob.
Yes, it will work on different app stores, provided AdMob is available in that country.
In your case, the ad-id associated with your ad is deactivated because the app is removed from the App Store.
Creating another ad id and a new app package name will resolve the problem.
If you are breaching some copyright, then you have to resolve them (removing the infringing assets) before uploading it to other App-stores.

Can I use my own AdMob ad powered android app?

My app is published in android market. It has AdMod ads. Can I install and use it for daily use without negative consequences? I know I may not use real ad unit when testing. But is it also so when my app is already published on the market and I am the developer?
If you are using the app as a normal client would then I would say yes.
But I am not a lawyer.

Add Admob ads to a android app not on market?

I'm new to admob and adding ads to my applications. I have added the google play services sdk to my project(app) and added a add view to the the layout of my app. Everything is set up properly and the test ads show up when debugging the app on my android device. I wanted to know if I didnt launch/publish the app to google play but people still downloaded the apk... Will i still be able to make money from the in app ads when the users click on the ads and does admob pay for the views for a ads?
Admob ad got a yellow triangle next to it saying linking to market so I'm a little confused on if I have to link to the market to make the ads work.
Yes it doesn't matter if it's on the market or not. You don't have to link the yellow triangle to your app it just makes the icon and name for it.
Im using admob and i released my apps on playstore and samsung market. I even have some apps that only available on samsung market, so far i never had any issue from the earning. So yes, the ads will still appears regardless of what market you put your apps into

AdMob site URL for app that can be downloaded from many places

If Android app with AdMob banner has site URL market://details?id=<com.example.app> Will it work for requests and clicks from installations made not from the Google Play? I have app posted on 1mobile and some forums, so I want installations from there to use AdMob too. Should I make it http:// instead of market://?
When you app will trigger admob data, it will use the api key that admob gave you, nothing else. And this is not related to the way your app has been downloaded and installed.
So, yes, admob will work. It will display ads in your app, whichever market it has been installed from.
If your question is : I wanna promote my app using admob with a market URL to encourage people to install it, then no, it will only work for devices and countries that support the market. There are some devices that don't support it at all, like archos devices for instance.
So, if you plan distributing your app this way, it would be much better to provide a free URL, not linked to the android market and allow users to see that page, and download the apk either via the market or direct download or alternative markets.

Are there ads that I can add to my android app without market link?

Is their an0 android app ads library that I can use in my app without the need to publish the app in the market?
You don't need to publish your application on the Market in order to use AdMob ads. Just register on the AdMob site and get your code to use when displaying ads.
I don't see any relevance between being small company and using Android Market, about 80% or more of Android Market submissions are made by singe developers, there's absolutely nothing wrong about publishing your personal application. I can even tell, it's really helpful to get a feedback from market users, especially if you don't have many people to beta-test your application.
