I would like to open an Image, in ImageView, from a button press. I need the image to be zoomable and scrollable. How would I best go about accomplishing this?
Thank you!
The Image can be either PNG or JPG
Thank you so much!
Here is my new code, you wouldn't mind skimming through and giving me a solution to all my problems with TAG, ZOOM , etc... I also know I need to add my image res to it

Or use TouchImageView in place of ImageView. It's a well done class, I've used it myself - Just include his view wherever you need a zoomable imageview.
Just add these below methods in your activity. Also, you need call this method as below and your activity must implement OnTouchListener.
imaveViewInstance.setOnTouchListener(this);

I'm trying to implement zoom in and zoom out in my imageView. This code works with no error, but I think the Image should not go less than 100% of its original size.
How to fix it? Anyone, please help me, thank you.

I am new at here. I want to know a bit about how can I make one image drag gable over other. I have used this library from github but not finding the solution. Up until now while searching on Google, I have managed to play with this code. But not able to use it in the desired way. Also, I have used RelativeLayout and not able to get the ImageView one over the other on selection. I am in a complete mess right now, I need help from someone.
Also, I want to make one image zoomable, draggable, and rotatable over the other image in that canvas but nothing works smoothly. The code below makes the images zoomable and draggable, but it's not smooth.
Anyhelp would be greatly appreciated.

i think from your query you want to implement drag image after zoom it(double click ) ,may be your zoom is working perfectly but you want add some lazy draging animation after zoom it so i give you Full tested Zoom in/out /drage imageview class just replaced it with your oldone
i hop it worked for you
sorry i have try many times but duue to charector limit can't past code hear so i am giving you url please go and find class
thanks
TOuchview class link click on it

i follow this tutorial http://www.allappsdevelopers.com/TopicDetail.aspx?TopicID=c16ed3b4-b422-43ba-b595-ee8e21dd1854 problem is when i capture image is default show is size so big but all zoom in zoom out how to i set is default size to normal image size?

float initialZoomLevel = 0.5f;
matrix.setScale(initialZoomLevel, initialZoomLevel);
view.setImageMatrix(matrix);
put this in the constructor / initilization method for your image view. This will cause the image to immediately be displayed at 1/2 size. Any further modifications to the image should be done on the same matrix
public boolean onTouch(View v, MotionEvent event) {
matrix = view.getImageMatrix()
//.. now do zooming, etc on this matrix
}
This way, the "default" size of the image is set to half of the original. Hope this helps!
