I am looking for an app or any library (ready to use) for my smartphone (HTC Desire S with 2.3.5 android, sense 3.0 and NOT deodexed) whici supports arabic language and solves the problem of 'disconnected' letters. I've tried to use some arabic reader app on android market but they didn't solve the issue. I'm not a programmer and I do not know how to change/create jar libraries for it.
Does anybody know whether there's any update or news about it?!
Thanks.

I am building a utility to uninstall not so important packages from the phone to free up space and resources. It works on rooted android phones. The utility will remove several not required language packages like Arabic , Chinese , Danish ,etc. For a user , all language support may not be required depending on his/her native language.
Before i proceeded to the technical part, i wanted to check the impact of uninstalling it on the system. I am trying my hands on a rooted htc one x with android 4.2.2. Let me know if more inputs are required from my end.
Waited a while for a reply. Tried it myself after patience ran out. So far I have not experienced anything going wrong with my phone after I uninstalled some language packs. May be it will impact if I try to set the language pack pointing to one I uninstalled. Good for now.
I have problem with complex scripting languages like "Farsi".
As you know before Android 2.3 we have problem with complex script languages. I search a lot and find a class to solve it (it got lots of works).
After some times I got that I have the same problem with both mobile devices and OS versions. For instance with Android 2.3 on two different types of device like Samsung Galaxy Fit and other Samsung device, complex scripting works well and show correct format in one device and on another device doesn't show well.
Is there any option that I do it in correct way in all kinds of devices and OS versions?
Note: In my app I checks SDK version to use or doesn't use complex script language class.
I intend to show Marathi language/Hindi language when I run my app on Android emulator. Can you suggest how this may be done?
I searched the internet and found solutions such as rooting. But rooting is for Android phones and not Android emulators.
Please suggest. It is critically important.
You dont need to root ur phone for support the Hindi or marathi.

Check below link it will help for you Link
I have implemented language localization to an Android application.
My questions are:
I can't seem to test if the localization works, as Android doesn't seem to support Thai natively. Is this the case?
If a Thai font pack was installed on a phone using my App, would the "Locale.getDefault()...... code detect that font pack the same as any other natively supported language and act appropriately.
No similar questions that I can see answer my question.
Cheers
I just tried this on my stock HTC Sensation and Thai language works and has the fonts to display it properly. Try using a program called "morelocale2" (I have no affiliation with this app) in the Android Market. It will allow you to set your phone's language to any of the Android supported languages. It makes testing localization much easier.
I found there are no RTF-8 and RTL language support on Android OS 3.2.
I use Sony tablet S, current system is Android 3.2
There are 10 million Uyghur people are living in this world.
but I fount Uyghur language and some Arabic fonts become very strange mark on this system.
If I use like "ROOT" to change system language , I may disable to continue SONY system guaranty.
So, is anyone can help with this problem?!
Is there any official support possibility for this problem.
Bidirectional text support is a very popular feature request but it is not yet supported in the base platform.
