Achieve Vlingo app like user interface in my application? - android

I want to design a UI in which i will be displaying large amount of text content followed by a single button. User cam scroll down the text content but the button should remain at the bottom of the screen visible all the time. Vlingo application available at android market uses similar kind of UI as show in figure below:
I have tried putting the text content in a scrollView and button outside scrollView but doing this the button cutts off the screen. Here is XML layout i tried:

I would think about using a listview to do this vs. a scroll with a lot of text views etc. but for the sake of just answering the question if all you are trying to do is make the scroll view not overlap or push down the bottom button I would do something like the following

First, right align your three blue TextViews with the Progress TextView. That way, all the blue TextViews will be right aligned. Then, instead of using layout_gravity=right, use gravity=right. That will right align the text within the blue TextViews. Finally, make all the blue TextViews be to_rightOf textview4, which is the longest TextView. Doing these adjustments will make the layout look like this:

Instead you can put those two horizontal TextView inside a
LinearLayout and set the LinearLayout below the percentage's TextView. Doing this you can have more customizability with the alignment of the TextView.

In your case this was different than what I normally set it up. But in this case its easier to add

Android ImageView in Eclipse - Problems with image location

I'm trying to insert some pixel art for my app as an ImageView, but it's very stubborn once I have it in. Specifically, it's centered and pretty much locked into a grid.
I would like to naturally place the sprite where I want to instead of having it snap to a grid. Any suggestions? Here it is:

All you wanted to do is make the xml layout root as RelativeLayout & Go to Design tab, drag to where ever you want it to be.

Android : Relativelayout in Framelayout not showing up (Custom Camera Preview Screen)

I need same as I attached image file Its Camera Preview Screen : I want to design two transparent layout over framelayout so it looks like this, but when I run it show only camera screen(Framelayout). It not showing two relative layouts.

Add ids to the two RelativeLlayouts in layout file..
and get the view object by like this
RelativeLayout layout1=(RelativeLayout) findViewById(R.id.topRelativeLayout);
RelativeLayout layout2=(RelativeLayout) findViewById(R.id.bottomRelativeLayout);
and add this line in your onCreate and test once..
layout1.bringToFront();
layout2.bringToFront();

customized list view with text view and button not support for multiple screen?

In my app am using customized listed view with text view and Buttons.The screen size is 4.65" 720p(720X1280 : xhdpi),device take this resolution from layout-large folder.when i run it on device.the list view item and header display not fit to the screen like image shown below,some empty space in the end of row.Its not able to fit to the screen.Can any one know please help me to solve this issue.
