i'm new to game development and am trying create a Contra or the old tmnt game (but a simple one) like game for android. for the game i decided to divide my main screen in three parts - upper for stats,mid for the game and lower for controls.
my main.xml is

so i have created the gameview and gameloopthread classes for the mid surface(which is pretty standard). my problem is that how do i draw in the upper and lower frame layouts?
should i make new classes for view and thread for each layout , should i do all this in the gameview class itself or is there any better way to implement this?
You can reference to that layouts doing this:

I want to have 3 layouts in my ScrollView but when I add them it actually doesn't scroll. I tried to put all layouts in different files, then include them, tried to put them in ListView and it doesn't work too. In this option, when I put in ScrollView the LinearLayout and there include the rest of the layouts the application show nothing. That's probably becouse I don't know how to refer to that nested layouts... This is my XML:

Need to put fix size in included layout, for example:

I don`t understand why do you need to add view manually when you already added it to the layout.
You should also eliminate top Linear Layout since there is no use of it.
I have created a 2-part layout (see the .xml file below), and I want to perform some "canvas.drawBitmap()" on either the top or the bottom part of this 2-part layout (à la Nintendo DS's dual screen system, you see).
I'm surely missing an easy point, but I can't figure how to do that.

I have requirement like play store app where there is view pager with images and videos
and scroll to view details .Unfortunately when user scrolls the scroll is jumpy but if i remove the scrollview the view pager works perfectly fine .

You are using 2 scrollisteners
A viewpager uses a scrolllistener
A scrollview uses a scrolllistener
These two scrollistener are fighting for the ScrollEvent.
You can solve this by implementing onInterceptTouch. In this method you can decide who wins the fight over the ScrollEvent

I want to make a activity like a "Dialog", and I know two ways so far:
Way 1) In Android ApiDemos, it is implemented by adding the attribute to the activity like
android:theme="#android:style/Theme.Dialog">
The result is: the new Activity appears on top of the existing activity, that is what I want.
Way 2) I try to invoke setTheme(android.R.style.Theme_Dialog) in the Activity.onCreate(Bundle) method, and the new activity also appears, but the background is all black. This is not what I want. Code is as below:

The easiest way is to add a second layout in you xml which is a overlay of existing one.
then you can set the overlay to visible in your activity. So then you got multiple views in 1 activity.

Although it is fairly straightforward, it might be not so clear for those who are pretty new to Android Views.
The following two lines should help you get the languageHeader of both includes. You can do the same for languageText
