I am working on an Android app that displays RSS feeds from websites, so i downloaded a tutorial from this website, it has all the code snippets.
And it s working great for me..but when i change the URL of the site that I want my feeds from.. I get the new feeds but I can't click them for details unlike the feeds from the default URL in this tutorial.
Any idea how i can solve this?
Check the difference between the two xml.

Im' developing an Android rss app.
When I use joomla rss everything run correctly, instead with wordpress rss if I change category before 15,20 sec the first news list downloaded remain for all others category, if I wait 20+ sec, everythings run correctly like joomla rss.
WordPress Rss:
http://www.cosenzachannel.it/feed/
Joomla Rss:
http://www.cosenzachannel.it/bkoldsite/index.php?format=feed&type=rss
Both rss are correct, because if I insert it inside web browser bar correct page is open.
Pls guys I need help, the app it's almost done..
Thanks Guys and have a good day.
Francesco.
Really strange because its not the usual WordPress feed scheme
But if you use the RSS Autodiscovery link in the source code (or a plugin like "RSS Icon in URL Bar" for Firefox) you'll find a correct RSS feed for any category.
For example :
http://www.cosenzachannel.it/bkoldsite/brutium-cosenza.feed?type=rss
Please any one can help me, this is a code get it from a website and modify it to be used in android studio system, and it's work fine but the page is white so i don't know where is the problem?!

Is this possible in android weview..?? I don't want to display anything else from website, only Notices for the week part.I don't have source code for this website. Please help me, I am not getting any idea how to do this..!!!
If you have no other option, i.e. the website has no published rss feeds etc., You can use JSoup to parse the website and select any component of the website.
Jsoup is a Java Html parser which you can use to select DOM elements from a web/html page, provided it is properly formed.
Check out JSoup here.
I'm new to android app development and I've for sometime now been trying to find out how to get the title or header information as well as the url of a webpage into the app I'm developing. What I want to do is to take a site, say mashable.com for instance, and get the titles and urls of all the recent articles and display them in a simple list form in my app.
Any help. Thanks in advance.
The application will take an RSS feed from the popular Android
developer site Androidster and parse it into a list of simple Java
objects that you can use to back an Android ListView (see Downloads
for the source code). This is classic polymorphic behavior — different
implementations (different XML parsing algorithms) that provide the
same behavior. Listing 1 shows how easily you can model this in Java
code using an interface.
