Looking for code example to display bubble like message - android

I would like to implement a messaging interface where incoming messages is displayed inside bubble like icon.
i wonder if any body have done such code and would like to share it. I 'm only looking for example of displaying text inside bubble like image.

Here are some useful links:
http://warting.se/2012/06/04/chat-bubbles-in-android/
http://warting.github.com/AndroidChatBubbles/

Nothing extraordinary here. Those bubbles are just simple views with a 9 patch background image.
If you are unfamiliar with 9 patch images, spend some time on familiarizing with it.

Are you looking for something like this ?

Android - how to integrate text into image

I want to create an Activity in my app that has an image chosen by the user and two or more EditTexts below said image where the user writes something.
After that, text from those EditTexts should be "integrated" into that image, let's say one on the top and one on the bottom of the image. I wrote integrated because I want the text to be a part of the image - those two need to become only one image so I can use an intent to send it to someone's email.
Sorry if the question is badly asked, I just didn't know how to formulate what I wan so I hope you got it.
Please follow steps
Create one framelayout with TextView and ImageView
Put EditText box implement TextWatcher
In onTextChanged method of textwatcher set text in textview.
You can create Bitmap of framelayout
Sounds like you are looking for ViewOverlay
The first example in this link does exactly what you want to do.

Have you tried using a custom/compound view?

Live formatting editText with markups/markdown

I have a slight issue. I wanna do something like we have here where we put in format markers such as this and this but I want it to appear in the edit text but not remove the marks for it. At the moment I'm achieving this with a preview button which displays an AlertDialog to show the previewed text.
I'm not sure which code to show as I have no idea how to do this at all. I also have no idea where to start on something like this. I've tried doing tons of research and it formats one word and then completely removes the markup/down for it.
Any help will be appreciated and I'm happy to supply any code whatsoever :)
I achieved this using a third-party library RichEditor and took the ones that I needed. It works really well for what I needed so I would recommend it for people to use.
It uses a webview for the EditText and then converts the text into a WYSIWYG formatting.

android: how can i create a TextView combining icom?

is there an easy way to create a text view with an icon inside the text?
like in this number of rates example:
(** 3,45642)
(I have less then reputeshion 10 so I cant insert the image I wanted
** means an icon of a small man)
or is it part of RatingBar that i couldn't find?
I don't want to use android:drawableLeft="#drawable/my_icon"
as i feel like the parenthesis are critical.
Many thanks for any help!
Check out SpannableStringBuilder class.
Usage examples are posted here:

¿Is it possible to put an icon with an action inside of EditText?

I'm looking forward to create an EditText with an Icon on the right that has some kind of functionality.
I've seen that the Google IO 2013 app has something like that on the search widget.
I want to know if its possible to do that with a simple EditText.
I've tried with a simple ImageView on the right of the EditText, but it looks really bad.
I would really appreciate if someone could point me in the right direction.
Thanks.
EDIT 1
This is an example of what I want. It looks really good. I have used the drawableRight and it doesn't look this good.

EDIT 2
I managed to build something that looks really similar to the SearchWidget with the voice recognition option.
I put two EditText next to each other (with a RelativeLayout), and set the margin left for the one on the right to -10dp. This way it looks like one EditText. I know this is not proper, but right now does what I want.
My problem now is the image, I'm using a 32x32 px image, because it fits fine, but it has really low quality, I'll look into that.

You can definitely use a custom EditText with drawableRight as follows:
android:drawableRight="#drawable/your_drawable"

1.Custom EditText- 1
2.Custom EditText- 2

xml for dropdown text

I have used this forum when I didn't know how to do something, but now I have decided to begin participating in it.
I would like to know how could I do a dropdown text (maybe it has a specific name and that's why I don't find any results on the internet). I mean, I have some tags in the screen (About, Company, Contact, ...). Each of these tags has a down arrow on the right side, and when I click it, it has to display (and hide if it's clicked again).
Here are the links with the images of what I want to do.

Thank you in advance!
You should use an ExpandableListView component.
There is a tutorial for it here.
Finally I did it with ImageViews and TextViews using the property android:visibility. Now that it's a static version is working properly. I hope that it continues working well when taking the information from the DB
