Have a BroadcastReceiver which I want to create a PendingIntent inside the onReceive method

I want to show my problem by an example:
I set a RTC_wakeup repeating to 10am that triggers an IntentService, When I run my application in 9:30am it waits until 10am and triggers the service (Great!).
But when I run my application at 10:30, It determines that the scheduled time has passed so it triggers the service (not what i want).
I just want my service to be triggered every day just once, exactly at 10am, what should I do? (The problem is whenever application runs after 10am it triggers the service)

I am currently starting a service using a Broadcast Receiver which fires 60 seconds after the device boots up. This broadcast receiver triggers an alarm so that my service runs every 60 seconds. Code for this is as follows:

Okay I have found out how to do this so I thought I would put this here in case anyone else is ever curious. (More elegant solutions are always welcome):
First thing is that in my service I added the following to the OnCreate:

This is done so that my broadcast receiver can handle those events. Apparently you cannot register these via intent-filters in the xml.
This means that when the service is created it ensures that these additional system actions can be handled.
I then modified my broadcast receiver to be:

From the above I cancel any current alarms with the same pending intent and then I set a new alarm whenever the screen if switched off/on.
This seems to be working for me. As always any improvements are very welcome.

To summarize the answers and comments above: the onReceive handler receives a context which can be used to access getSystemService and ALARM_SERVICE. Sample code:

Create a new class with this code and of course change MyReceiver and MyService to the names in your implementation.
ALARM_SERVICE is neither defined in the class ReceiverBoot nor in BroadcastReceiver.
You should reference Context.ALARM_SERVICE as the argument for getSystemService(String).
Here is a little contribution, which I believe that can add a more complete vision about achieving the goal of this question.
First: configure a "receiver" inside of the AndroidManifest from your app.

Second: with a Class that EXTENDS the Abstract Class BroadcastReceiver, you should determine if the Intent Action was "BOOT_COMPLETED". If the condition is satisfied, you can call a method from your class which has all the construction to your Alarm.
