I know that this topic would have been discussed here a lot of times, but I couldn't find a proper answer for my query even after searching a lot across the internet. Therefore I thought I should ask a question here so as to get the answer from the developer here who may have published there app in play store. The point which is more confusing is that the status
of my application shows PUBLISHED but when I search in the play store I don't find my application. Can anyone pls tell me that how long it will take before the app to finally appear in the play store.
Application get displayed in play store within a short time after you publish. It takes maximum of 1 day time to display and not more than that. I hope there was mistake from your end only. Better you check whether any errors exists by clicking on the Errors hyperlink. If still no hints then you have to check for something else.

Last night I released a google play app and this morning it was in the play store and had even received a review.
Right now I checked and it isn't there anymore but it still says published.
Could it have been removed?
Last time i published an application, i couldnt see it in searchs for 1 week. Everything is possible with google play actually. But if they removed your application, u supposed to have a mail from them for sure. If u didnt, probably its a temporary problem. Wait today and if it wont be fixed, send a mail to them.
Try to go on this url using your application package:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=HERE_GOES_YOUR_PACKAGE
If it is there, you just have to wait for google to index it, sometimes it takes a couple of days.
You can also try this, that lists all your applications, this needs even more time then the app to get updated:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/developer?id=HERE_GOES_YOUR_PUBLISHER_NAME_ESCAPED_URL
Example for my app:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=it.cpiacente.fticker
https://play.google.com/store/apps/developer?id=Cristian+Piacente

I have noticed, that the number of ratings for one of my apps is only decreasing last 2 days: it was 374, yesterday when I refreshed was 365, today is 364.
I have tried to contact Google support, since I think it is not possible to "unrate" an app, so this sounds like a bug to me, however, I was not able to find a suitable question/but report form.
My question is: does anyone know something about this issue, or generally how the number of ratings (not the rating itself!) could go down?
Alternatively, a bug report form would be appreciated too.
P.S. link to the app:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rts.android.spacesim
As you can see here there is a delete button above My Review, when you click it you see this.

About 20 hours ago, I published my first android application on Google market. Everything works fine, but I would like to find out If i done something wrong. I can't see statistics for this app: "Sorry, no data for this metric". Is this because of the fact that my app is freshly published, or is it because of code (maybe I have to insert some peace of code in order to enable tracking)?
Thanks.
It takes a little longer. I'm not sure of the exact cycle, but it takes a day or so for the first update.
If its a paid app you can see the number of downloads by looking in your merchant account.

I published an app yesterday and see it when I type https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=packagename into my browser. It's clearly on the play store, yet I cannot find it when I search the store from my phone or my computer. I was able to download it onto my phone using the URL above. Is there a setting I'm not selecting or something that would be causing this?
Google Play can be notoriously slow, both for the Developer Console and the Front End for users.
I've seen apps go live and not turn up on my Developer page or in search results for close to 48 hours. There is no way you did anything wrong, as Google Play doesn't provide any option for you to omit apps from your search results which you may have accidentally enabled.
I'd recommend waiting for a day or two more. If it still doesn't turn up, you could try contacting Google Play support, but I wouldn't get my hopes high about even receiving a response.

I've got an app that needs developing cross platform with sporadic updates depending on season and to go with PR, etc.
I know I can set an initial availibility date for iPhone distribution and I can do the same for updates. However I cant seem to find if I can do this with the PlayStore. I'll need to time the initial release then time updates depending on seasons and would like to do this in advance.
Anyone know if its similar? If you know if similar can be done on Windows Phone OS too that would be an extra bonus! hehe
You can't. You have to submit your APK a few hours before you want the App to be available in the Play Store. Play Store does not provide a "publish from date".
