According to answer from here.
android.permission.INTERACT_ACROSS_USERS_FULL is a signature level
permission. Your app will not be able to use it until and unless it
has the same signature as the system.
Which is not something you can achieve unless you either are the
creator or the system build, or collaborating with them such that they
are willing to sign your apk with their certificate. In other words,
this is off limits for most developers.
However, reading your loagcat and code.

java.lang.RuntimeException: Unable to start activity ComponentInfo{com.example.innovator.httpclientapp/com.example.innovator.httpclientapp.MainActivity}: android.os.NetworkOnMainThreadException
Above error suggests that a network call cannot be made on main thread. So, make a new thread and start network call from that thread. It might solve your problem.
new Thread() {
public void run() {
// your network call
}
}.start();
If you want to have callbacks and stuff you can use AsyncTask as well.
Also a suggestion, for making nice and quick network calls you can use volley. It is my personal favorite and very easy to use!
I am experimenting errors in my app, when cell is telling that it is connected to internet, but when you try to connect google play or browser, you can see there is no internet.
It can happen when user is at the limit of Wifi Range, or when there is a very bad 3g signal, or when the device has not so good hardware ( I have a lot of problems with Samsung Advance with Android 4.1.2)
The consequence is I have a lot of errors like:

When loading, it lasts a lot.
My first question is: Is it consuming high battery while trying to connect host???
My real question: is it posible to manage this case? Is there a way to detect there is no internet while system says there is?
EDIT:
I'm checking the internet connection with that method :
public static boolean isOnline(Context ctx) {
ConnectivityManager cm = (ConnectivityManager) ctx
.getSystemService(Context.CONNECTIVITY_SERVICE);
NetworkInfo netInfo = cm.getActiveNetworkInfo();
if (netInfo != null && netInfo.isConnectedOrConnecting()) {
return true;
}
return false;
}
My first question is: Is it consuming high battery while trying to connect host???
Battery consumption should be normal as it is using the wi-fi or mobile radio.
My real question: is it possible to manage this case? Is there a way to detect there is no internet while system says there is?
You can add a timeout of say 30 sec with your request using URLConnection's setConnectionTimeput() method. In case of connection time out you can notify the user about weak connection.
My app that is using Retrofit (v1.6.1) to connect to REST web services cannot connect to my local web server (running on localhost), this is the error I am getting.
This is inside Nexus4 (v4.3) emulator, I am using Android Studio for development and I have added android.permission.INTERNET & android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE permissions in manifest file.
The error says its waited for 15s but it does not, it errors out right away.

On your phone connecting to localhost:3000 means "connect to port 3000 on local network interface" - which is local interface of the phone, not the port 3000 of the PC to which your phone is connected. There is nothing listening on port 3000 on the phone, so you get connection refused error.
Whould you're trying to do is (probably, hard to guess without more information) is to connect from the phone to port 3000 on you PC. So you should change the address you're connecting to from localhost to address of the PC. In case of emulator that would be 10.0.2.2 (which is localhost of the PC). See networking information for reference.
I solved the issue, need to use 10.0.2.2 instead of localhost to connect to my local server.
Found it here - http://developer.android.com/tools/devices/emulator.html#networkaddresses
I am trying to follow this guide to get an App Engine Connected Android Project working. However, when I try to run my Android application and register, the Registration with Google Cloud Messaging succeeds, but the Registration with Endpoints Server fails.
https://developers.google.com/eclipse/docs/endpoints-androidconnected-gae
I manually set the LOCAL_ANDROID_RUN = true in CloudEndpointUtils.java
Any ideas on how I can fix this issue? I have tried the suggestions in search results with no success.

My screen on my phone looks similar to this:
I'm doing an app in which a Service initiates a GPSListener which gets location updates in a regular interval of time.Upto this part its woking fine,and Im getting updates correctly.
I need to update this lat,long values to a server database,for which I use a http post request to a php script;which individually works fien.But when its called inside the LocationListener,Im getting the following error stacktrace.
How can I overcome this situation and make the post request?

you are doing network operation on main(UI) thread. do use asyntask for network operation.
android does not allow to perform network operation on main thread. because it may freezes the UI.
whenever this exception occur android.os.NetworkOnMainThreadException its mean you have done something network operation on UI.
Even though Service is intended for background processing they run in the main thread .
A short quote from the documentation:
Caution: A services runs in the same process as the application in which
it is declared and in the main thread of that application, by default. So,
if your service performs intensive or blocking operations while the user
interacts with an activity from the same application, the service will
slow down activity performance. To avoid impacting application performance,
you should start a new thread inside the service.
