Place button below editfield in relative layout

Hi all I have to add 2 Buttons below editfield. I had tried it using relativelayout. But it is not added exactly below mention position.

Here I want to add these two buttons exactly below "des" editfield. Thanks in advance

You have just add on your relative layout:
layout_gravity on right and width make on wrap_content. like this

Ist think you are doing wrong is that : ScrollView never contains Relative Layout as a direct child. it use LinearLayout as a direct child .

Try this:
One more thing when you want to do stuff like this, try to see in graphical layout and move elements in that to position you want. Most of time it will work as expected and you can get idea of place too.

In your case its not possible because you are trying to place a button relative to EditText which is placed inside a LinearLayout, you can place the button relative to linearlayout but not its ChildViews.
Try to bring all the Views inside a single relative layout and place all the Views relative to each other.

android:layout_below="#id/des" That des is present in LinearLayout, IF you want to give that way, Same RelativeLyout should be given within the layout that des is present and Their parent should be relative layout, to use parementers such as below or above(i.e., with relative to other widget)

I cant seem to properly position my layouts the way I want them to be.

how to put the icon on the right in android table layout?

I use tablelayout instead of the custom header title bar
Now my layout like the xml I show below, and I want to put the 2 icon and the text align right, but when I use android:layout_gravity="right" it seems not work, so how can I do it ?

The layout gravity you set is not to affect the positioning of the TextView and the ImageView in the TableRow, rather it will position them in the wrapping LinearLayout which is not quite what you need. I suggest you define the following attribute to your TableLayout:

This will make the first two columns of the raw expand and thus shrink the rightmost column to the right.
NOTE (IMPORTANT) Currently you do not have a valid layout defined: you have a TableRow in LinearLayout - this is not allowed - you should place the row in TableLayout like the one I have defined.

Android Layout does not display all my components

I am trying to display an EditText and a Button horizontally and below of them I want to display a List(ListView). I have try this but it seems it's only sees the first Layout and nothing else after.

Add
layout_weight="1"
into your horizontal layout.
And you will need to add similar lines in the TextViews at the bottom if you want to see those also.
Your current problem is that you set that one to fill_parent, so when it gets to the ListView, there is no space available.

you are using two nested LinearLayout with fillParent... you are doing it wrong.
Why don't you use RelativeLayout?

I'm assuming that you want the EditText and Button at the top, the two TextViews at the bottom, and the ListView to fill the available space in the middle. If that's the case then you need to tweak your layout_height's and add a android:layout_weight="1" to your ListView:

How to place textview on right and left of layout?

I want to place a textview on the right of a layout and on the left of a layout, but they keep stacking ontop of each other:

Alternatively you can use TableLayout with stretchColumn set to stretch the second column to the size of parent.
