Android Fragment View can't choose layout - android

I'm learning to create application on android and I have a problem with the fragment functionality.
I created a new black activity using eclipse and selecting the "Swipe views+title strip" navigation type.
I ran it and it's fully working displaying Section 1, Section 2, Section 3.
What I wanted to do is selecting a different layout for each section so i tweaked the code this way :

The problem is that all the different section uses the view profile layout even if the case is correctly parsed...
Have you got any idea on how can I improve this code to make it work better?

Didn't you miss some break statement in your switch?
without it, the code continue to the next case:

Also, it is better to use empty constructor for fragment, otherwise you'll have problem when the fragment is re-created (after a configuration change for example).

You can use Fragment.setArguments() and Fragment.getArguments() to pass your fragmentLayoutName.

Something like TabHost.onTabChanged()

I'm making a tabbed application and need a way to do an action on when I change a tab. The problem is that all I can find is about TabHost which relies on the deprecated TabActivity class. Even if it wasn't deprecated the pre-generated tabbed activity code doesn't even use it, so I'd have to build my main activity class from the ground up. If this is where you started, the proper response to "explain exactly what you are using right now" would have been "AppCompatActivity, ViewPager, and TabLayout".
Let's pretend that this is what you have, more or less.
In that case, call addOnPageChangeListener() on the ViewPager, passing in an OnPageChangeListener implementation. That will be called when the user switches tabs, whether via the TabLayout or by swipe gestures on the ViewPager itself.
Now, it is entirely possible that this is not what you have, as I had to make a few guesses, given your limited explanation in your question.

Android Tabbed Activity Add New Fragment

So it seems the previous ways of creating tabbed activities that allow swiping the screen left and right have all been deprecated.
I tried searching through various other guides, but all of them use deprecated fragments methods.
So I tried using the built in "Tabbed Activity" in Eclipse here:
New -> Other -> Android Activity -> Tabbed Activity
I created 2 additional fragment activities called fragment2_activity, fragment3_activity.
Going by that, where in the code below do I add the second and third fragments?

Swipe Views with Tabs: how to make 3rd tab combination of other 2

It's probably way too early for me to ask this, since I'm totally new to programming altogether, but here goes.
Using the "Fixed Tabs + Swipe" navigation for 2 tabs on the main activity of a new project in Eclipse (Kepler), how could one make it that when launched, the app will be on a '3rd tab' that is basically the 2 tabs being simultaneously activate, incorporating the items of both tabs in one list?
The idea is to have each tab be a category of a grid of items, that can be combined in this 'merged' tab, then one can swipe from right to left to select one tab with one category, swipe again to switch to the next category, then swipe a 3rd time (in the same direction) to return to the screen with both merged (and basically have a loop like that when swiping in that one direction).
The swiping between tabs is only meant to occur in one direction, while a swipe in the other, will bring up a set of options instead.
The items themselves will also be further subdivided on each page in expandable lists, which will be identical in both tabs, allowing them to merge.
The 'merged tab' would also have title text that 'overlays' the 2 category tabs and indicates their combined state.

Android : Pager Title Strip and WebView

I created a project with "Swipe View+Title Strip" navigation type for Android 4.0. What I want is to show a different page when I click on a title or I swipe between pages. For example I have three tabs, each one of these to show a different webpage. I now how to create a simple webview app, which loads a webpage with javascript and so on. PLEASE CAN SOMEONE HELP ME TO MODIFY THIS CODE SO THAT EVERYTIME I CLICK A TAB FROM THOSE TITLES TO SHOW SOMETHING DIFFERENT.
I saw something with int position and then switch(position){ case 0, case 1, case 2} etc. but I don't know where to put this code.
This is the stock code, can someone modify it for me? I am searching about this for weeks :((.

You can create for example 3 html files in your assets/www folder (index1.html, index2.html, index3.html) than change onCreateView() on the end from generating text view to generate webview, like:

Bad thing in this approach is that when you swipe webview reloads. You should set onCreateView to populate view only once and prevent webview from reloading on swipe, but I don't know how to accomplish this.
I hope somebody who read this will leave comment on how to prevent webviews from reloading every time it's section comes in focus.
