You can change the title of your application from the Developer Console. Does it look correct there but incorrect on the play store?

i have published the apk in google play console,
but now i want to delete it and use the exact same code to publish it under the different name,
is it possible to do it? is the code will be lock under google code signing mechanism ?
If you want to keep the same app package and juste change the name of the app, update it in your code AND in your Google Play console, it should do the trick.
If you want to release the app using a different package name, you will need to sign your app with a new certificate, then upload it to Play Console but make sure you removed the first APK (it should appear as a artefact).
You can upload the same code twice, there is no blocking mechanism at the moment.
We published a android application on google play store, the google play console said it's published. But we search our application in google play store it didn't show the application. When search the application with package name of our application it shows only in some devices. We didn't restrict any devices while publish the application.
First we publish a application that was removed by google play for violating 'Google Play Developer Program Policies', we lost the old keystore file, so we change the package name and publish the application and it published. But it didn't show when we search by it's app name. We name the application as the first one removed from play store.
we think the name of the application is same as the old one that was removed is the problem for that not showed in search list. We need solution for this.
I want to release a new version of an existing application on the Play Store.
Problem : Key is missing
Is there a way that i can add an update on the play store for the existing application.
Does Play Store provide a way for the applications to be uploaded whose keys are missing.
i am not sure if this is the right place to ask this but here goes:
i have an app for a client with my company's name in the package name. it was first uploaded to my company's google play account but then the client requested it should be transferred to their account later on. after doing that they noticed that it shows our company's name in the URL on google play on the browser and they requested it should be renamed. so my question is:
can the id be removed from the url? for example this https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.facebook.katana becomes https://play.google.com/store/apps/details/facebook
can I change the name of the package and replace the already existing app? (I guess not since the package name is the id of the application...)
thank you,
Upload a new version with your client's company name as part of package name. After it is published and unpublished the app which includes your company name.
I uploaded the apk file to google play store. But i cannot find my project from google play store when i search my package name. How can i do for searching on google play store to detect my application.?
If your application name is for example The Best Application Of The World, and you are using Google Plays search, it will propably not show your app in search results. But if you enclose the name with quotes like "The Best Application Of The World" then Google Play search should show only your app and nothing else (if it is published).
First assure your application successful published at right side of google play console.
If successful publish then it will appear in with a 1-24 hours.
I think it just has to do with Google's server traffic (many apps are waiting to be processed for accepting request).
Be happy it will be appear in shortly.
The apps are usually published within a few hours, but it can take longer for the search system to be updated so that's why you sometimes can't search for it immediately after it is published.
If you want to get to the app after it has been published, use the reverse domain name of your application package:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mycompany.myapplication
